We enjoyed our stay at Barbarahof. I would recommend everyone to have a fish meal for dinner, if possible. We tried various types of fish, some of which we hadn't even heard of before reading the menu, but they were always beautifully presented on the plate and delicious.

We spent our summer vacation here. A pleasant and tidy hotel with an excellent kitchen - I recommend a stay with breakfast and dinner. The location of the hotel is slightly away from Saalbach itself, so it is less crowded, and the surroundings are more open. The hotel has enough parking and a well-kept garden. Ideal for families with children.

Staff is friendly enough, but (maybe given the size of the place, or the fact that our active command of German is not great) not very personal. They don't ask any questions, or if they do ask how your day was, they don't really seem interested in your answer. Also, the playroom off of the dining area is fun and well-equipped, but on the small side for the amount of children that used it during our stay. This sometimes led to some squabbles amoungst the children.

The location of the hotel was good, just outside of the busy towns themselves, but close enough. There is a bus stop for the free bus a 100 metres away, as well as a supermarket. The food is excellent, especially the really wide array of breakfast foods. Also, if you have young children, this hotel works great: there are lots of other children, so you won't feel uncomfortable if yours yell or have a tantrum occasionally. Moreover, there are lots of toys in the garden for them to play with. My children also loved the three rabbits they keep (though those aren't even very tame). Also: the Joke Card is awesome! Makes your stay infinitely cheaper and more relaxed.

It’s a pity the hotel is straight infront of the main road. but that we slept on the back of the hotel, which was perfect.

It’s very well taken care off! maintenance is done with love and care. Also renovated part looked great. Breakfast was very good and great assortment, love that there was a fresh juice press you can assist yourself. Dinner was also very nice, portion of the main dish, could have been a bit smaller. But quality was good and made with love.

The location is between Saalbach and Hinterglemm. You have to use the skibus or ski shuttle. It is quite easy, but takes some time. Normally you you can ski to the hotel, but due to poor snow condtions it was not possible.

The staff and the hospitality was great. The owner of the hotel was always there for a friendly chat or to help you. Good food and very nice wellness area. They celebrated my birthday. Really liked it. Also Heiligenabend was great. Good atmosphere/food.

We had a great three night stay at this hotel on our way home from Italy. The staff were amazing and so welcoming and we were incredibly grateful that they were happy to speak to us in English (and that they spoke it so well!) Food was amazing, 4 courses most evenings and we especially enjoyed the BBQ night on Tuesday. Hotel location was great with lots of lovely hikes all around and we made good use of the Joker cards. All in all, a great hotel and we’d like to come back again some day.

Bicycle storage area was too small. In case of any small repair required - there was not enough place.

Lots of attention to the traveler needs - I.e. bicycle washing station, outdoor areas. Really good breakfast - kitchen staff was super nice!

The language was a little problem that could be easily overcome: they sent us a message in German and the list of possible services or menu was only in german. The window to have dinner was quite short so if you haven't nordic time schedule you better check it out first.

The staff was very welcoming. Our reservation included dinner, breakfast and access to spa and other services (including a "joker card" to benefit from the local gondolas and many other attraction) at a really competitive price. The dinner had a limited choice but was good and the breakfast was really amazing.

Great hospitality of the owners. Great leisure space at the "mountain" side of the building. Great restaurant. All the facilities needed when MTB biking in Saalbach are on site like bike cleaning/service station and garage. This is a place worth visiting once again for sure.

However, the bathroom in our room was not very clean. I wanted to take a bath to warm up after skiing (because the sauna was closed at 19.15 when the reception staff assured me it will not be an issue to keep it open until 20.00) and unfortunately as I got into the bath I realised it was full of hair. I’m not sure how it could have been missed during a clean which leads me to think that it just wasn’t cleaned.

The breakfast was genuinely very good.
