The breakfast was excellent with a variety of all sorts of breakfast dishes. Impressive with the SEKT BRUT! The staff was professional and welcoming. The location was perfect for our stay: walking distance to attractions in the area, the airport bus and the hop-on hop off bus. I will certainly prefer to stay here again on my return to Vienna.

Our trip to Vienna was truly memorable, thanks in large part to our wonderful stay at this hotel. Its prime location, just a 5-minute stroll from both the city center and the subway, made exploring the vibrant city incredibly convenient. Additionally, having a hop-on-hop-off bus station nearby and numerous supermarkets within easy reach further enhanced the convenience factor, making it an ideal base for our adventures. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel and the attentive service provided by the staff. Throughout our stay, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and hospitality. The breakfast offerings were satisfyingly diverse, providing us with plenty of options to fuel up for our days of exploration. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the hotel's charming terrace, where we enjoyed leisurely mornings sipping coffee and evenings relaxing with a beer, soaking in the ambiance of the city. Our room was a delightful retreat, boasting a cozy atmosphere and spacious layout. While some may perceive the furniture as 'old,' we found its classical charm to be a nod to the hotel's rich history, adding character to the space. The sizable bathroom was another plus, providing ample room for comfort. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning for our future trips to Vienna. Everything. The dining area was so beautiful. Chrystal, Orchids and golden eggs for Easter. It took my breath away. On my birthday the property arranged in the room a bottle of Spumante, a rose for my partner and a piece of Sacher torte for the two of us. The following day it was Easter and we were welcomed upon return to the room in the evening with two Lindt Golden bunnies…. Just amazing. Only the temp in the room was a bit warm but nothing that could affect the great experience

There was nothing I did not like about my stay at Hotel Stefanie!

4* star hotel but 5* quality of accommodation and service, in my view. The hotel is characterful and in a very convenient location, very close to Schwedenplatz where there are trams and a metro station (just one stop away from the central mainline station connecting to the airport). You can also easily walk into the city centre, where the main tourist sights are located. The hotel was spotlessly clean, every member of staff was friendly and helpful, and an excellent, varied breakfast is served from 6.30am to 10am. My bedding and towels were changed every day and my room was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend to others, and return if the opportunity arises.

Charmingly old, the hotel was comfortable, clean and had everything one might need - attention to detail was extraordinary. Room was cosy, warm and a decent size and the bathroom was quite big. Breakfast was varied and had all the possible options. We had a room that looked onto the courtyard, and it was really quiet. Location was excellent, 5 minute walk from the center of tow.

Beautiful traditional Hotel. Perfect location friendly staff. Breakfast exceptional. It was my 60th birthday while staying here. The hotel on seeing cards in the room left Champagne on ice a beautiful rose and chocolates. Also a personalised note wishing me happy birthday. It was a lovely surprise and made my birthday even more special. This truly is an exceptional Hotel. Thank you

Lovely classical hotel , lives upto its name as the oldest hotel in Vienna. Warm welcome, staff very helpful and only a 20 minute walk into the heart of the city . Breakfast is your typical decent hotel spread.

Room size I would prefer a bit bigger.

Breakfast was great with good food and the place was silent for sleeping. Location was perfect very close to Stefan dorm and very well connected to metro and Tram station.

One thing the hotel could improve is to provide bottled water free of charge - 1 or 2 bottles, 0.5 liters. We stayed at 4-star hotels in other countries and this feature was quite handy, especially when one is walking a lot around the city.

Location was good - just one bridge away from city center (15-20 minutes by foot). One can also walk along the river - would definitely recommend! Room was big and clean. Breakfast was absolutely fine and the restaurant itself is also quite large. Atmosphere is authentic: here and there one can see exhibits from the old hotel stuff.
