I loved everything about this property. The Villa is very beautiful surrounded by the rose garden ,the room was very comfortable. Very tasty breakfast, excellent service and the charm of Sissi the owner of the hotel made our stay special. Thank you!

Some construction in the area confused a few taxi drivers and woke us a little early but it was a small and insignificant disruption.

Elizabeth created such a charming ambiance from the cozy room to the wonderful and generous breakfast in her picturesque residence. The property was delightful and well placed just a short walk to city center passing through gardens and seeing the beautiful scenes of Salzburg

Wish we can stay longer.

Our room is very clean and dicorated well in this beautiful house with a pretty garden. although its location is a little far from the center of town, but it is walkable. Elisabeth was very friendly and helpful. Pity we didn't have time to have breakfast in that elegant dinning room. Highly recommend if you don't mind to walk a short distance about 10-15 minutes.

Lovely hotel run by excellent very friendly staff. The inner courtyard was beautiful and quiet for a pre dinner drink. The breakfast was self service with a huge choice. Bed was large and very comfortable.

A nicely managed hotel with a superb breakfast with a view to their beautiful garden!

We found the initial sign for the property but drove right by it the first time. There is some construction in the area (we did not have any problems with noise) and the hotel is well hidden behind a lovely fenced garden. Just look carefully to the left as you enter from the main street so you don't miss it on the first pass.

The hostess was helpful and friendly. She made suggestions about where to go and what to do, which was especially helpful as we had one day of rainy weather. She even gave us two different walking routes to reach the city that were "more interesting and beautiful" than the route our GPS was suggesting. The room was comfortable and a nice size for two people. The furnishings are lovely and fit the "boutique" style. The bathroom was well-appointed. We could tell that the staff took great pride in their hotel and their work. There were fresh flowers all around. Breakfast was served in a lovely setting looking out onto the garden. The staff plated the general items (fruits, vegetables, yogurt, muesli, meats) and there were extras set up in the general area.

For the ones who are used to "super flexible" cancellation options: as Villa Sissi is a small boutique hotel, they do have to rely on predictability of guests, hence cancellation terms are with longer notice periods.

The boutique hotel Sissi is in a wonderfully maintained villa, with a beautiful middle garden, stylish interiors and comfortable rooms. Elizabeth is ensuring it is all very well maintained, she also takes great care of her guests - particularly, at breakfast, where you will be delighted both by the variety and presentation - while giving valuable tips about Salzburg. You can really feel her enthusiasm and pride!

An oasis in Salzburg - I must come back!! The hotel is definitely on the pricier side, as is most of Salzburg during the summer, but this is by far the best value. It is stunningly beautiful from the inside out and is the perfect escape from the touristy center without being too far to walk into (you can use the bus easily too but I loved the walk along the river into the old town!). The breakfast is fit for a queen and Elizabeth is there to wish you a good morning every day. As soon as I arrived, she walked me though a map of the area and where she recommends and ensured everything was perfect from the moment I got there to the moment I checked out. It’s also the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Truly 5 star hotel quality.

Beautiful location. Close to city center by bus. I never made it to breakfast because the bed was beyond comfortable. Windows open. Salzburg rain. Wonderful breeze. I was in heaven! Elizabeth even checked on me because she hadn’t seen me since check in. Delightful!

beautiful hotel with lots of attention to detail. Elisabeth is the best host. the bikes were in excellent condition and the short ( 5 minutes) ride into Salzburg is wonderful. breakfast is delicious too, just a wonderful hotel to stay at when visiting Salzburg.
