Fantastic in every way, I can’t praise it enough. It’s an 1000 year old castle but feels as nice as a new building. The staff is incredibly helpful and always with a smile on their face, it’s spotlessly clean, the spa is great (outdoor pool and jacuzzi and all the saunas you can hope for). It’s a bit pricey but you truly get what you pay for: royal treatment at a castle

Some small part of the furniture in our room was a bit worn-out and there were some little cracks in the toilet. The staff was very nice and friendly but some younger ones showed some uptightness which I am sure can be solved with more experience. I would also recommend proactively offering the guests excursion (or other actvities) ideas or make sure they are promptly shown upon arrival in a brochure.

The view from the hotel and the nice castle-like feeling is a unique experience. Breakfast was amazing and the choice of food was very vast, from healthy muesli, smoothies, fruits etc. to heavier type of food like cakes, sausages, etc. The spa area is very good but for the amount of rooms I would have expected something bigger (more jacuzzies and pools)

Here are some minor things, I'm just pointing them out since it is a 5* hotel: 1. Temperature in the outdoor pool could be 2-3°C more, as it is too cold for relaxing in the winter, suitable only for swimming. 2. I would appreciate a bit "fancier" bathroom amenities, I missed f.e. hand cream.

1. Beautiful hotel, we were astonished by surrounding mountains. Cozy atmosphere, just as I imagined it. 2. The best breakfast I've had in a long time, local products, amazing choices. 3. Perfect half-pension included, big thank you to the waiters, who were really nice to us and our messy little girl. 4. We got room upgrade, which was really nice touch. Comfy, big room.

Very friendly excellent staff. Dinner we received as complimentary out of kindness. We arrived very late but they still provided dinner and give us all the best welcome. I highly recommend if someone wants to have a short relaxing weekend getaway in a beautiful neighborhood.

Not much. The quality you get is fantastic for the price. Similar places in Austria were double the price. I hope to visit again soon. The only "negative" I could think of would be the balconies. I think they can be slightly modernized with some nicer furniture to lounge in order to enjoy the incredible views. Also, during the next bathroom renovation, just remove the bathtubs and put showers. It makes things so much easier. Otherwise 10/10!

My girlfriend and I were doing a tour of Austria and we wanted a calm place to simply switch off and relax. Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn was an excellent choice. We actually liked it so much that we stayed an extra night. We chose the breakfast and dinner option. I have to say that the price was more than fair for Austria during the peak summer season. The entire experience was incredible. The hotel had organized transport for us from the train station. The staff was really polite (especially Patrick). Everything was really clean and the view from the winter garden is incredible. There are a lot of visitors who go there to play golf, but there are a lot of other experiences to be had. We went on a day trip to Hallstatt. It is just 45 minutes by train. You can also do day trips to other lakes. Much better than going from Salzburg. It was really an incredible experience that I will remember for a very long time. I highly recommend it. Also, don't forget to go on a quest and visit the local chicken farm. There is an automated store where you can buy local delicacies from the farmers!

Nothing! Although we visited during a slow period and reveled in the peace and quiet :)

We spent 3 glorious days in this former castle in the Alps, a perfect spot for golfing and wellness. Every area of the resort was stunning and incredibly clean. The golf course was beautiful, well kept and very hilly :) Check-in was easy and quick. We were upgraded to a junior suite w/balcony on the top floor with a view of the valley and Grimm mountain. The suite was spacious and appealing, with 2 balconies, a luxurious bathroom and separate W/C, loads of storage, a beautiful king size bed, a large flat screen TV, and a comfortable seating area. The bed was firm, with large goose-down pillows, smaller firmer pillows, and thick winter comforters. The marble bathroom was large and well appointed, with a bidet and heated towel rack, and a massive marble bathtub shower that delivered strong water pressure and immediate hot water. Breakfast was in a beautiful morning room with many large windows and doors leading to an outdoor seating area, and offered a full breakfast buffet with a large variety of hot and cold items, warm items made to order, and fresh pressed juices. As we had booked the half pension, every night we had dinner in the beautiful Zirbe room, where we enjoyed the nightly offerings, wide variety of wines, and generous treatment by the staff. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and the sauna, which were beautiful and functional, with many seating areas. Most importantly the hotel had the nicest and most amazing staff! Nothing! Although we visited during a slow period and reveled in the peace and quiet :)

Breakfast was exceptional and relaxed. Nicely renovated breakfast room. The dinner menu was excellent when you go for half board and the restaurant and ambience is excellent. we have been at this hotel several times over the last 8 years and have always enjoyed it. We love the golf facilities, club house, spa are and pool area.

Only one issue: we have not been seated for the dinner in the new winter garden, from 3 nights not once, I did not understand. When I asked on the 3rd night if we can eat in the winter garden, I was told that it is fully booked, we were dissapointed.

I always try to put smth to improve the service, so i will be super precise other wise i will rate as 10: 1) Stuff welcomes you with a welcome drink but providing zero info on hotel, wifi, breakfast etc 2) I was asked on my credit card to provide on check in which is ok but then all of a sudden lady started to write down the card credits on a list of paper which i found super weird being in 21st century to apply such a unsecure method :( 3) Spa is super nice but can you put sum rubber cover on a wet floor i saw two persons just fell down and in case of an older person it could be dangerous - i think this is a security measurement you need to afford, for 2 hours in spa i saw the guy making wet floor only once 4) restaurants are so nice and different, the only thing in last evening we spontaneously decided to have dinner in Zirbe restaurant and guy on entrance on our question "can we sit with no booking?" started to answer in a manner "this is the last time i can do it for you without the booking!" and of course restaurant was half empty - really not a 5 start service. Same guy even after left tips run after me because he forgot to put 0.99 cents in card machine when i was paying so her prefered to run and return me to correct his mistake instead of source it from tips:)

From the moment we park the car and till the moment of check out we enjoyed it every single second we have 3 fantastic nights with my wife and everything was just fine and worth on money you pay for it, I've checked a lot of spa hotels before choosing this one and we just get exact to the point. Also we traveled with a dog and were surprised when found two plates for her in a room with a specific door sign so you can hang it when dog stay alone at room
