Breakfast was great. Excellent variety of fresh vegetable, fruit, eggs, bread cheese and meats. Great dining room, very authentic feel. The hotel cleanliness is out the top draw. You can literally eat if the floors.

The town itself, Sankt Johann, isn't a very attractive place except for its center, perhaps. Also if you want to hike in the Wilder Kaiser, the bus connection to Going-Ellmau-Schefau-Söll is not great. Timetables are sparse and the last bus may depart as early as 16:45. Plus the Kaiserjet bus service does not go to Sankt Johann. If you're going there for the Wilder Kaiser or for Der Bergdoktor's locations, maybe consider staying in Going, Ellmau, Schefau or Söll instead

The hotel was fantastic. The room was large and comfortable, with a table, TV with a channel guide, a balcony with an outdoor table and an incredible view. The bathroom was not large but very clean and had a shower gel dispenser in the shower. The host was absolutely marvelous and attentive. Breakfast is pretty good with enough choice of cheeses, hams and breads, and a particular focus on a variety of yoghurts, local pastries and marmalades. The location is also amazing if you want to hike in the Kitzbüheler Alpen or go to the attractions in the mountain. Just a few minutes walking from the Hotel is the Harschbichl cable car station that takes you to 1.600 m altitude, from where you can continue upwards to the Kitzbühelerhorn, take a tandem paraglider flight or ride a mountaincart down to the lower station. There's also a few pretty good Italian restaurants in the town and the town center is small but cozy.

everything was perfect

the location was fantastic, service amazing and the rooms soooo nice and comfortable. Honestly I cannot fault this hotel. Breakfast was lovely, even accommodated our early flight home and opened the breakfast room an hour early. The place felt safe and like home, but with stunning views.

Everything was perfect! The staff was super warm, welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The location is great and close to restaurants, bars and nearby hikes. Would absolutely recommend!

Host, position, breakfast, room, atmosphere. The staff was very nice with us, we had the bikes and they allowed us to use their garage. Breakfast absolutely reccomented. They also provided us the covid test and certificate when we were leaving because we needed it for our next stop and they didn't charge anything to us. It's closed to restaurants/center and shops.
