How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Cups are too small. I like to drink my tea out of a mug. The bed was REALLY soft. BUT surprisingly I slept really well so it I couldn't say it was uncomfortable
Really close to the tram stop. If you like walking it's great for the shops and restaurants. Great bicycle/walking paths to have a look around. We had two small but great balconies with tables and chairs to sit outside and the view of the sunrise over Mt Ainslie in the morning was beautiful. There's a little cafe downstairs if you need an early morning flat white.

When I booked with bookings . Com the photo didn't Match the room and I thought I was getting a small kitchenet but had to pay extra 45 dollars to get this and when checking out they said it was 75 dollars had to win a descusion to pay $45 the guy said it happens a lot with bookings.com thats not my experience usually.

Not being able to get hold of reception desk when trying to warm up the room.
The location was lovely amongst the trees and surburbia. I had thought I had booked the Northbourne Avenue Adina but I'm glad I booked this one as it was quiet.

The bathroom was dirty; washing hands or brushing teeth in the sink was revolting. The shower had mold at the bottom of the glass door, and the containers were dirty. The windows, their frames, and the balcony were filthy, including the balcony floor and the table, which hadn't been vacuumed. The rug was full of crumbs and wasn't vacuumed either. I found it dirty, so we switched hotels. Considering the price, the parking was very expensive for such dirty rooms. I wouldn't recommend it because the cleanliness of the rooms does not justify the price; it's not a good hotel.

The bedroom cupboard was a bit jammed. There wasnt a fly screen on door, but luckily we didnt have probs with mozzies.
We went to the EPIC showground, so having the light rail outside the hotel is excellent. We chose this venue because it also had kitchen and balconies, and a really comfortable living space, lots of light and air. Tidy, comfortable and pleasant ambience with lovely quiet street walks on extensive flat pathways near green spaces and local shops, away from noise. The reception staff were excellent. polite and very professional. It was great to have a person on site.

I didn't like the wifi, it was very slow and free wifi was only available for one day. (we were there for 2 nights). I would also have liked better lighting to do my makeup and hair. There wasn't anywhere to place makeup and hair products in the bathroom.
The studio room was spacious and had a good sized bathroom. It had a kitchenette, and a washing machine and dryer. It was in a good location. Staff were helpful.

Unfortunately there was an issue when booking in with parking fees. The booking was made with "free parking" included in the price which was challenged by the manager on arrival. It was only after l showed proof of my arrangement that the manager honoured the free parking but voiced his disapproval. The key pass to enter the parking area worked for 1 night and then we had no access to the front door, lift, parking area or room at a very late hour of the night. We were able to sneak in with another guest and ring the after hours number to voice our concerns but needed to wait for over an hour for the security serice to give us access at 1 AM. Next morning the "issue" was rectified but the managers excuse was from satisfactory and the care factor was 0. A coffee voucher was offered for our inconvenience!
Quiet location and close to local transport if required. Apartment roomy, light and airy, well equipped for cooking, washing and ironing if needed and a dishwasher.Comfortable bed and great shower. Serviced daily
