The staff was helpful the location was perfect just in front of the bus stop (greyhound) and just one block of the Main Street (with shops and restaurants) the hostel is a party hostel with lots of young people but they also have some private rooms like I chosen. This was big enough and with bathroom included.

The shower kept flooding the rest of the bathroom and the curtain doesn’t fully cover the door so people can see in to others sleeping

It felt a bit like a small resort and it’s very close to the beach and shops. Relatively social hostel.

The location is very lovely. It is very close to the bus stop and right next door to Pippies... incase you've booked the Fraser island tour with them.

The shower was awful. Which wasn’t ideal after being on Fraser Island. And when it rained heavily our room flooded which wasn’t ideal. But as long we had nothing touching the floor we were okay

The room waa clean, so were the commok areas. Staff were friendly. Kitchen was nice to use and they put on a sausage sizzler one night which was lovely and a good socialise.

Kitchen is pretty small

Huge hostel, the bar is good. Beds are comfortable. Great stop for a night either side of a Fraser Island tour. They brought a pizza van in one evening which was awesome. Free parking outside the hostel.

A bit dirty, there was a sticky stain from coffee on a shelf and in shelf units all layers under the top one were covered in something like sand Shower doesn’t have a little bath under it, just the drain in the floor, so after shower all floor in the bathroom is wet There was no hot water

Kitchen was filthy - would not cook in it. We’ve stayed in a lot of hostels and this was by far the worst I’ve seen. Rubbish all over the outside areas, laundry room was a mess. Bathrooms weren’t clean. Overall run down and dirty apart from the room itself which was fine. Same price as other hostels we’ve stayed in but not up to standards.

Room was spacious and bright. Handy for the night before dingos tour. Free on street parking. Beds were clean and comfortable.

Where placed in a 8-bed dorm even tough we booked a 6-bed, but to be fair the room consisted of 2 rooms without a door seperating them so it was quite fair! Kitchen could have been cleaner and there was some hair on the floor of the room

Overall clean room, free hair dryer to borrow, good beds and clean white sheets, free sausage sizzlers in the evening

The kitchen and commons area were closed when I checked out (7.30am) which is very inconvenient. Only a thin blanket. Might be too cold with air-conditioning in a 8 bed dorm. For one night okay

the kitchen facilities were not great. It was really small, it lacked enough crockery and cutlery and it wasn’t that clean.

Was put in an 8 bed room when I paid for a 6 bed was not told this or given a refund for the difference. Water leaked out of the light switch and light did not work in the bathroom

Bathrooms are wet rooms which get very gross and dirty when it’s a shared dorm. Kitchens were not very appealing either, quite dirty

I booked a bed in a 8-bed dormitory, with AC. The dormitory is wide and large enough, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm, you have access to an ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). All were clean. You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, without oven. The common space is nice. Free pool table. In house bar, hence no BYO, open until 10pm. The WiFi is good, quicker close to the reception area. 100m away from Greyhound / Premier Motor Service bus stop. 500m away from IGA supermarket. 500m away from main beach. The staff at the reception (Zara, Lia) is nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.
