How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is nothing during our stay that my wife and I did not enjoy.
Room very clean and tidy. The room had all the facilities needed for a couple of nights stay. We would highly recommend the Georgian Motor Lodge for any future travellers to Echuca.

1. Cleanness of the room was excellent. The bedding was clean and fresh, the air conditioner was well maintained and had no foul smell, the bathroom & kitchen was tidy and were in order. 2. Professional & friendly manner of the staff was that of superb. 3. Excellent location, everything was within 5min drive (10-15min walk), very accessible, yet the lodge was quiet - No street/car noise Overall, I had an awesome experience staying here first time and will be staying again for my next trip if/when I pass by.

If I was to be a little picky the car park can be a tad tight depending on what type of vehicles are parked where (and how they are parked) but happy to put up with that with how good the rooms are
Best rooms in Echuca! Absolutely love how new and clean they are and the recliner chairs are amazing Breakfast was well priced for what you got

Just a tad down the road from the main restaurants and pubs, however the walk is only 15 minutes, so not a big negative. It is also right across the road from a large supermarket which is great.
Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean room, great parking (even provide windscreen cleaners for your car). Love, love, love the big screen television and the recliners, could not ask for more from a hotel!

I stay here regularly and will always adjust my work schedule to work in with the availability of rooms. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Echuca. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.

Cannot fault it!
Everything was perfect. We’ve had a string of bad bookings at other places but this was like a breath of fresh air. Everything is done with the utmost care and thought, down to the mini fridge in the room - it has an actual freezer compartment! The prices for the mini bar/snacks were very reasonable, same with the in-room breakfasts. The room was tidy, large, comfortable and welcoming. We were walked to the room and the air con was already on. We even lucked out with a little courtyard which was the cherry on top. Not to mention the tv, free Netflix and the comfy lounge chairs! We will be back!

I personally do not like using liquid soap in dispensers and would have liked the option of a bar of soap but I understand that is probably more wasteful. That is my only negative comment.
We got the room we requested with a King sized bed and comfy recliner chairs. We were supplied with extra towels and everything was clean and fresh. The owners and other staff were very friendly and helpful. After we had checked out, I received a call to say they had found a personal item I had left behind. They offered to mail it but we decided to return for it. Their prompt action saved a lot of angst. It was also very hot whilst we were there and they had a pristine pool which we enjoyed using.
