Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Check in was really easy and the staff were all lovely. I particularly love the entertaining door staff - they made the days fun! The location was perfect with everything at your doorstep and within easy walking distance (or public transport options).

The staff were all helpful and really friendly. Our room was amazing and had all the features we needed. It was great having 2 bar options in the hotel and walking/tram distance to everywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the staff member on front desk was on his own despite it being 10am (peak checkout time), and he was caught up in a conversation with another guest. I feel he could have introduced the guest to concierge staff for the info he was after, so that the queue of people checking out could be prioritised.

Very quirky fun design features throughout. The room was small but very comfortable bed and very spacious bathroom. The towels were large, thick, gorgeous. The bathroom toiletries were Kevin Murphy, very good quality. The location of the hotel could not have been better, close to everything. The restaurant had fabulous food, great breakfast. The staff were fabulous, so friendly and helpful.

Loved the feel, very romantic! All the staff looked like they were in character and loved to work there. Service at Gowings bar & grill was amazing!! Awesome location near light rail! Thank you for the bottle of champagne. We couldn’t have asked for more in celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary.

QT Sydney is right in the middle of the Central Business District (CBD). If you want to stumble out the door and have all right there, this is the place. The upstairs bar at Gowlings has a good bar menu and an even better menu of Spritzes with Tasmanian Gin. The room was large with a comfortable bed, huge window, 2 comfy high backed chairs and perfectly outfitted bathroom with double vanity and Kevin Murphy hair and body products - your own salon right inside the bathroom.

AustraliaThere was nothing to complain about. Actually the only thing was the DJ in the bar. He just played the same music on a loop and I did not really engage the age of people in the room. There were maybe one or two "younger" people. The rest of us where all in our 50's. Had he played music that was not just rubbish the place would have gone off.
We found the staff to be so helpful and the bed was soooo comfortable. Best bed we have slept in for a really long time.
