The hotel was delightful, my only criticism would be it closed too early for dinner and drinks. Otherwise lovely.

Lovely heritage hotel with lots of original fitting including a life from the 1920’s. It was really quirky and full of interesting artifacts.

The lift was a little unpredictable and so we decided to use the stairs as we got caught in it once

The shower floor was meant to be angled for the water to go down the drain but some leaked out into the bathroom

The Nespresso coffee machine was great but longlife milk just makes the coffee taste awful. On checkout, we were almost charged a second time for parking when validating our ticket. Perhaps this could be clearer to staff when parking is paid on arrival?

Loved the character of the building - the lift and lobby especially. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade which absolutely delighted us.

Our room was so so small and air con was super hot for the size of the room: only a window the size of a plate. Previous stats here have been incredible however!

The hotel and room were very luxurious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were exceptional - both friendly and helpful. From an environmental perspective it was good to see refillable shampoo, conditioner etc in the bathroom. The hotel is close enough to Central train station to be useful for the airport. It is also a short walk to the Town Hall and the main shopping area and then down to South Bank.

I was travelling with my dog and this is one of the few that accept dogs and don’t charge a $200+ cleaning fee. There is a dog fee of $100

There's confusion with gps in regards to getting there. Gps will take you to the road underneath. Can be issues ordering Ubers and such

This property is in a repurposed older building and the conversion is very good with elements of the original building nicely preserved - eg the lift. Our room was very spacious and the lounge/bar had a nice atmosphere. We appreciated the happy hour and the free sweets.

The dining area was oh so very quiet, lovely in some ways but we felt like we needed to whisper. Slightly louder music would have made it perfect.

Absolutely adored the decor, the art, quality of the bed and linen and the overall cozy atmosphere. In a world of bright lights and sharp edges it felt like a welcome reprieve. One night was not enough, I will most definitely be a return customer.

A clean room. Good air conditioning. Great location. There is a train nearby and easy access to the airport and other facilities. There are many cafes nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly.

Absolutely nothing to fault

This property is amazingly quirky! The interior has some of the most amazing features and had us oohing and aarhing at every step/turn! The food and drinks are to die for and the free lolly bar! Meals and drinks were reasonably priced too! 24/7 room service, self laundry facilities as well as in house service. The team at this property are amazing!
