Room decor was pretty average. Food and drink prices were quite high. A bath would have been nice.

Had to ask twice for a light bulb to be replaced in a bed side lamp and also it took a 2nd request to get a roll of toilet paper. Air conditioning was set very low and it was hard to work out where the temp control was located on the box. The bathroom had no bench space. Road works for the new light rail made it very very difficult to locate and get into the hotel. We found it was not as centrally located as we expected.

Clean and tidy. The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us a couple of drink vouchers as we were there for a special family catch up.

Parking was a bit hard. Parked underground but had to move the car to the front after staff saying the carpark is full? Parking is 30$ extra.

A lot of roadworks around the motel, the twin beds were together which kind of defeats the purpose of two separate beds however not a significant issue.

I just thought the shower floor was very slippery when wet and I think that if it had a hand rail it would have made me feel a little safer when getting out.

This hotel was very nice. The people behind the front desk were friendly, helpful and very courteous. Our room was clean and comfortable and had what we needed.

When I ordered room service there was no salt and pepper provided. Was I supposed to specify I wanted it? The menu didn't say. The food was over the top expensive with a limited selection. Also, I found the descriptions of the food were pretentious. The quality of the food was good but the only bread on the menu was sourdough which gets monotonous very quickly. Why not multigrain sometimes or something else with some fibre in it? There was also a lack of dietary fibre in many of the dishes available unless you paid even more for a side dish.

Check-in was easy, the staff were universally helpful and the bed was wonderfully comfortable.

This is our second time staying at the QT in Melbourne. The last being 5 years ago. We were relatively happy with our experience. However the bathroom was a little dirty and there was paint peeling from the walls in the bathroom. They definitely need to be re-tiled and painted. We also were staying with our infant baby and upon return to the car park to park our car after attending a wedding, we were unable to park in the parking we had paid for. When trying to find a park we were advised by the owner of a Maserati who had decided to park in the middle of the underground car park and rev his engine for his bystanders. We had to drive out onto the street to find a car park and walk back to the hotel in the pouring rain with our 3 month old baby. We were also a little disappointed to find buffet breakfast we enjoyed so much last time we stayed had disappeared. We had been looking forward to it so much and were a little disappointed by the breakfast options on the menu.

I think the bathrooms need to have at least one disability rail installed even a small one so older people can hold on to when showering.. dad couldn't shower properly BC he kept falling over tripping etc couldn't get to his feet toes. To clean. That's all. Ours was a walk in shower it was fine just a small rail to hold on to on the wall would be good

Out of the hotels control but the road works surrounding the hotel is a little annoying. I’m sure it will be great once done but a little hard to navigate around it. Hotel is older but they have kept it up and it was very clean.

For the price paid this hotel was very good value. Lots of construction around the hotel but they can’t avoid that. No gym or pool but apart from that perfectly fine.

Michael at reception is an asset to your company he was welcoming, professional he showed an interest in our trip to Canberra as we are from Sydney and made us feel very welcome. Being in management myself I believe in first impressions being the most important thing when walking in to a place of business. He excels at his job and made our stay an awesome experience we will definitely be back
