Both BBqs had run out of gas, the stovetop in the unit was dirty. We cleaned it! The staff in reception gave the impression that they would rather not work there. The bistro was closed.

It was cheaper than other options. The common outside areas (tennis court, BBQ, swimming pool) were potentially great. The unit was comfortable.

There were cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. We know that roaches can be found in the cleanest of places, but we still found it too unsettling to enjoy our stay.

The unit was a good size and was quite clean. We had an issue and wanted to leave after one day into a non-refundable three day stay. The staff, especially Lisa, were very helpful and accommodating. Thanks for getting the refund sorted out!

Beds were a bit on the softer side otherwise everything was just spot on and comfortable.

Location of the motel was near the edge of Canberra, which was a bit nice to avoid all the crowds and noisy from various travelers. If you have a car this motel is just great! Plus you can do simple cooking and the villa facilities are enough.

Nowhere to hang towels or swimming gear (although we did enjoy the pool). The sofa is pretty small but definitely better than what you get in most hotel rooms. The driveways are pretty rough with potholes and some pretty aggressive speed humps - careful if your car is a bit low like mine.

Great location, easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. Phone signal was weak but the free wifi made up for it! Good water pressure in the shower and handy 2 way access to bathroom. Despite their age (I first stayed here 33 years ago!) they still look pretty smart and have been spruced up. Very quiet.

The property was tired. The en-suite was attached to the twin room rather than the double bed room. Had to juggle the double bed to close the door.

Spaciousness of cabin, cooking facilities & fridge. Heating worked well. Location worked well for us.

It was a bit frustrating that there was only 2 of each eating utensil and then not 2 dessert spoons but and 1 soup spoon. We provided our own meals on 2 of the 4 nights we stayed and it was annoying to not have enough crockery and utensils to prepare our meals. Behind the cover over the fan in the bathroom looked as if it had not be cleaned for a very longs time nd was full of dust and cobwebs. These could be easily seem as the duct allowed enough light to silhouette the grime!

the rooms were clean and appeared to be freshly painted. Parking also is very handy so you don't have to walk a far with heavy bags from your car to your room

For to the city

I went for a 4 day holiday Trip. It was nice but should y a little more clean.

Since our stay here a few years ago I’ve noticed a definite decline in cleanliness, although it was “clean “ enough, but the standard has definitely slipped in the last few years, a good carpet cleaning, and the rough driveway could do with upgrades, as could the very noisy a/c unit that’s covered in sticky cooking oil, and holes in the fly screen. But realistically other than that, and being short on cutlery our stay, although much shorter this time was a good stay.

Quite location, not far from anything, large villa, with a good kitchen space and separate bedroom, parking not to far from your door, reasonable price

The floor below the fridge was sticky from previous guests which had attracted ants. We needed to keep all our food tightly sealed to avoid any infestation. Also the door frames were swollen and so it was hard to open and shut them without making lots of noise (we had a 9 month old with us and it would keep waking her from sleep).

Good value for money and includes access to the pool.
