Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaCar parking, whilst it didn't bother us too much this time but it's a shame it's valet-only and so costly. Definitely cheaper to park in public parking pre-booked if you don't mind the walk. A little difficult to catch some of the details given by reception staff and we were told brekkie finished at 8.30 but it was definitely later. Hours at pool slightly reduced on public holiday and I would've loved to have a bit longer in the evening for a swim after families had vacated. Pricey, and we booked for an occasion but it was worth the stay. Lovely.
All the staff were very well presented, beginning with the friendly chap at the parking bay and front doors. Everyone very polite and efficient. The pool and steam room facilities were clean and the pool was huge and really pretty. Bar was comfy with lovely cocktails and room was spacious and clean. Doonas were super snuggly. Housekeeping was prompt and professional.

United KingdomThe advertised award winning restaurant was closed which was a disappointment especially as we had an e-mail a couple of days before our arrival welcoming us and inviting us to join them for lunch or dinner in our Harbour Room and Observatory Bar. Only the Observatory Bar was open.
Very comfortable room and bed. Brilliant location in "the Rocks" area close to the CBD and the harbour. Approx 5-10 minute walk to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. Perfect.

The hotel was serene and staff were always available but not overbearing. We were given the sense that we were the only guests both in the level of effort and care that was shown to us and by the genuine peace and quiet of our beautiful room.

AustraliaRoom was incredibly comfortable, with wonderful view over the western harbour from the balcony. Lovely bathroom and room was also very quiet; with the bedroom door closed, it was impossible to hear any noise from the hallway. Swimming pool was also fantastic; a little on the cool side but this makes it a perfect temperature for laps. Buffet breakfast was delicious, in very relaxing surrounds. And staff were lovely; helpful and friendly in all interactions. Will definitely be visiting again!!

Fabulous room. Loved the pet VIP package. Beds are sooo comfortable , concierge and reception staff very helpful. There is good parking nearby - beware you have to walk up a flight of 60 stairs on the return. A very short walk - but lots of steps if you aren’t used to them.

It began with the prebooked limousine not turning up to greet us after our 9 hour flight As a result we were upgraded to a beautiful suite for our 3 night stay. However there are serious problems with the service with daily mistakes and domestic difficulty in making ourselves understood ( indeed it was easier at our hotel en route in Hong Kong ). So a potentially great hotel let down by poorly trained staff.
The hotel is in a great position a few minutes walk from the harbour bridge opera house etc. The ambience is stately distinguished discreet and quietly opulent
