The couch looked old and not very clean. The bathroom was not renovated, had some cheap finishings and the toilet was not well attached to the floor

My partner was quite nervous about the steps up to the apartment and the internal stair. Myself had no issues.

The pool was excellent and the life guard very helpfully assisted my partner down the pool steps.

We did say we were arriving early, but no check in before 3pm. We booked a partial sea view but the ground floor room was behind high bushes with no view and people walking past the bedroom. We saw some kids club people but didn't see any actual activities happening, and the "water park" is clean but just a little splash park for toddlers which you pay extra for on arrival which wasn't made clear. We paid extra for it, grudgingly, and then only used it for 10 minutes before our 7, 10 and 12 year olds wandered off, bored! I'd say it's an excellent hotel for families with toddlers wanting to stay there and do nothing. But it's a 40 minute hike into Fornells along the road, on an unspoilt but featureless peninsular, a bit desolate.

Lovely clean room, great pools and the buffet is excellent. The room was lovely, beautiful design, lovely and cool ceiling fans. And right by a lovely pool in pretty gardens, the resort is beautifully landscaped. It would be perfect for families with tiny children up to age 8, or as a relaxing base to explore from with a car. But with age 10+ or without kids I'd head somewhere more eventful, or certainly self cater and expect to drive to eat in the evening as there's nothing nearby. The buffet is great but all families with kids in the air con and noise, it wouldn't be a relaxing experience for couples!

We arrived around 10:00 and asked an early check in multiple times before the arrival. But they didnt even pretent to help. We just had to wait hours in the reception with a 2 years old. Also there are no air conditions in the hotel meaning you have to keep the windows open and funny enough there are no swatters. But there are a lot of mosquitoes around. I couldn’t even count the bites on my body (i think more than 30) Also dont go to breakfast around 10:00 as it gets extremely crowded

Location is great. Overall, the staff is very helpful and smiling (except reception) The view of our room is perfect. We also liked the big pool area in the garden village section Quality of food is very good (if you go early)

Maybe the window frames needed to be changed or repainted as the black mold (specially in the bathroom) spots were a bit visible, probably from humidity, but didn't bother us too much, as the cleaner came everyday to clean our room.

Liked the Mediterranean vibe. The reception guy was soo friendly and helpful. He spent enough time to explain us the rules plus he showed us all of the attractions. In terms of cleaning not really too much to complain about it, as the cleaners came everyday to change the towels and clean the room. The breakfast was amazing and everyone tried to speak English.

There was nothing I didn't like. This is not of or luxurious resort along the lines of either Tui Melia, or the numerous hotels of Hurghada say. No, this place fits with the calmer more charming expectations of Menorca. But while I was there I actually visited 2 other hotels (only to see the pace my partner used to work, and recce for her friend who is travelling to Menorca in 2 weeks). I have travelled extensively and rarely leave reviews. So take this fact that I am doing so now as a glowing indictment for this property. I try not to raise expectations. This property exceeded my hopes. I absolutely loved the feel on this place. It felt like a little village and a nice landscape lawn sloped down from my apartment to the pool, just 20 metres away. It was quite when I was there. Not sure if the feel would have been completely different if the pace was busy. Just 30 minutes from the airport. The location is isloted in so much as there are only a few buildings near the hotel, but the main town is just 10 minutes drive. I absolutely loved this place. Would love to come back one day with partner, and pretty sure my parents would enjoy this pace and the vibe.

No flexibility from staff. Tried to order a round of drinks 10 minutes before beach bar closed and told that bar was closing and bar person was not being paid to work past 11. Also no late checkout available despite a room being available to book for that night on booking.com so not full.

The room itself was very dated with fixtures and fittings below par. Our bed in the lounge was broken and needs fixing.

Spotlessly clean. Staff were extremely polite and accommodating. Swimming pools were great. Breakfast was superb and well run with lots of constant fresh food.

...the apartment was cold and dark and damp. All our clothes came away from our stay damp and smelly, even those that had started out dry. The apartment had no air con which shouldn't have been a problem at this time of year but because of the dampness of the apartment we ended up having to put the fan heater on for a couple of hours in the evening for the children to be able to get to sleep. There was enough hot water for one person to shower - in a 4 person apartment - so most of us had a cold shower. Which wasn't what we wanted after a day hiking. The bathroom was pretty bleak overall, the water from the shower went everywhere and there was no air in the room so nothing dried. We would have needed about 4 bath mats to manage the water on the floor and it took about an hour for the mirror to demist (the only mirror in the entire apartment). The sofabed the kids had to sleep on collapsed when you sat on the end of it. If they had mosquito nets on the windows we could have got more air into the apartment by having them open but there were so many mosquitoes around we had to batten down the hatches and deal with the sogginess.

Really torn about this place. The location on the beach was great, the water park and many pools brilliant and the food, especially the buffet dinner, was really delicious. Lots of activities too if you want them. All the staff we interacted with at mealtimes were lovely. And the style of the apartments is traditional and very appealing from the outside. However...
