We loved the easy booking system, and friendly office staff. The location was amazingly central,unreal Restaurants,shopping, services ,beaches ,very friendly neighbourhood, and people. Even had a hairdryer & endless hot water....essential for teens. Grand sized Balcony with dining and lounge furniture Great roof top plunge pool. Ah, lookit,we'll be back..100%

Lovely apartment in one of the best locations in town. (C. Hernando de Carabeo). Have stayed here several times before and it never disappoints. I like the private patio area and also enjoy the roof top solarium which gets the sun all day. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you might need for a pleasant stay in Nerja. Shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. The famous Balcón and surrounding area is only a 5 minute walk along the pedestrianised street.

Short walk to all parts of the town. Lovely pool and rooftop terrace. Everything you needed was in the apartment. The customer service was excellent, staff booked transfers etc. which made travelling with an 11 week old as easy as it could be.

There was one air-conditioning unit which was effective but the cold air didn't reach one of the bedrooms which was bit hot and uncomfortable

Fabulous location in the centre of the old town and very close to shops, restaurants, bars etc. A short walk to The Balcon. Peaceful and quiet even though it was so central. The roof terrace and pool were a great bonus with fabulous views out over the Med. Would definitely recommend this place

Lovely clean and spacious apartment in a central location - the Balcon, Calahonda beach and lots of shops/bars/restaurants are all on the doorstep. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It is well equipped and had everything we needed. There is air con in the lounge and one of the bedrooms, and the other bedrooms have ceiling fans which still kept us cool. We loved the apartment’s huge balcony and the villa’s rooftop terrace with its pool and lovely views. The owners sent lots of helpful messages in advance and were lovely and friendly when we visited the office. I’ve been to Nerja a few times and some of my favourite places are: - La Dama and Little Italy for the best and impossibly cheap pizza and pasta - Redondo and Sevillano tapas bars for free tapas - Bamboo for dinner at sunset and sea views (book ahead to get a table outside) - Anahi for breakfast/cakes and sea views - Inita for breakfast/cakes and the only place in Nerja where I could find a frappe! - Mena garden for drinks in a beautiful garden setting - Mirasol for a cheap meal and sea views - Cochrans for drinks and sea views

Our only comment was that there was no air con in the bedroom which got very hot (even with the fan) but otherwise absolutely fantastic and would not hestitate to return.

Pool and rooftop was amazing, apartment was fantastic and comfortable, wonderful location! Frank the host was really lovely and helpful on check in and gave some great tips about where to go and what to see. Nerja has so much to offer!

The sliding patio door - twice my wife caught her fingers in the door latch, there is no stop on the door and it nearly took her fingers off!

There was only one slight down side to our stay which was outwith our Hosts control and in no way reflects any negativity towards the property or hosts. Renovation work was being carried out in a property next door and work began at 7:15am in the morning which was a bit early when on holiday . Work was only done Monday to Friday but all in all did not spoil our holiday.

The property was in a perfect location and the hosts were very informative and responded immediately to any enquiries we had. The property was very comfortable and typically Spanish which was what we were looking for.

Everything! We are frequent visitors to Nerja and this was by far the best place we have stayed! Perfect for young kids and adults alike. The pool was great,the balcony was spacious,comfortable and safe for kids. Everything is within a short walking distance and could not praise it enough

There were construction works next door that were quite loud every morning for 3 days and we were not made aware of these in advance. We understand we were staying in a busy tourist area and fully accept the noise expected from local restaurants and people walking around but being awoken by Jack hammers and cement mixer was not pleasant. It only stopped due to Easter holy days and thankfully the last few days were peaceful. Apartment 3 The main bedroom was small with access only from one side of double bed but the twin room was better. Advise you check fully with agents before booking so no surprises.

Excellent location close to town centre. Apartment well furnished and clean. Outside patio and rooftop access were really nice to have.

The only thing was that I did feel the bed was a little hard.

Myself and two of my friends were there for a long weekend. The apartment was perfect for us! It was a great size, clean and has a fab private patio and a communal pool. So close to old town and the beach, but not so close that it was noisy. Frank and Dagmar are lovely and communication was answered very quickly. I will definitely be going back to Villa Carabeo Playa!
