The staff was extremely welcoming and very kind to meet my request for an early check-in. I loved the care they put into making the room and the whole hotel warm and welcoming. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the old city.

This is an old hotel, in an old building in a small town in Northern Europe. The beds are tiny, the amenities are old, the breakfast is...serviceable. I am spoiled rotten by the fancy chain hotels of North America. This is not a comfort stay, but it is fun.

Clean, looks cute and is centrally located to all the attractions that Naantali has to offer (less then 10 minute walk from the harbor and Moomin World). The staff is very helpful and the property has ample parking for all units.

Since it’s an older house, the number of electric outlets was a bit limited.

A charming old house with clean facilities. A walking distance from the old town/restaurants. Easy to come with a bicycle. The staff was friendly. Possibility to pick up the key from a lockbox after the reception was closed.

The location was excellent. Hotel Palo is a traditional timber house and we appreciated its authenticity. We very much appreciated being able to borrow bikes on two occasions.

Excellent and peaceful location. The charm of the hotel and my room exceeded expectations. Very helpful and kind host with excellent English skills. The only sounds you could hear were the beautiful sounds of birds outside and those LOVELY squeaks in the floor which one misses in today's concrete jungle. Just what I adore!

It’s an old wooden house so you can hear when people are walking in other rooms. This didn’t bother us too much.

Very pretty hotel and rooms. We travelled with a baby and a small dog and our special needs were taken care of.

Our room's window opened to reception/breakfast room stairs, so was a bit noisy in the morning. Some little extras would make breakfast even better (missed bread toaster).

Lovely 1940es family house, well located in old town. Free parking, good breakfast. Comfy bed.

If something happens on the street during the night, like active socializing or kids driving motorbikes - you will hear it very clearly.

Charming old building with style, quiet neighborhood. Owner/manager was very helpful. Parking place for your car right next. For us it was important that the Moominworld is within a walking distance. Overall smooth experience.

    Basically nothing 😊

We stayed one night before heading to Aland and another night after returning from the island. The owner has arranged for us to stay at the same room, everything was kept clean. Comfortable bed and good breakfast, walking distance to city, restaurants and some nature trails, less than 10mins drive to the ferry terminal. Nice and friendly staffs.

The refrigerator was noisy and we shut it for the night. No problem to preserve food because the wind cabinet for the room was ice cold. Not much scenery from the room.

Nice 1950's style retro decor. Friendly host and good breakfast for a small hotel. The bathroom had a bathtub and shower water pressure was more than adequate. There was a kettle, which is rare in Finland even in expensive hotels.
