The place was amazing, the room was very clean and confortable. We especially appreciate the sauna (free, one hour per day) and the barbecue !!!! An unforgetable journey for whom loves wilderness.

I had to talk to my wife due to the fact there's no tv.

Way out in the country right on a beautiful lake. The room was perfect. Breakfast was great and the owner was very friendly and helpful

Nice view Free kayak, boat, rowing boat, bicycle, Bar b q hut, sauna... Breakfast included, its good. Fridge and Microwave oven just outside the door. So many swings U can see reindeer so often inside the resort just roaming around u Helpful stuff

Great costumer service! The free private sauna was really nice and relaxing. Unfortunately we couldn't make use of the campfire pit and kayaks. We'll be sure to return sometime in the future!

great location, wonderful staff, all possible winter activities. Nice rooms. We were quite dissatisfied with breakfast and dinner. But I guess it was rather ok.

It was one of my best accommodations thrue the trip to the nordkapp. The location is directly on the lake, close to the village of Inari and on the gate to Lemmenjoki nationalpark. The house was cordially a former sami-school, now renovated as a hotel. An electric sauna in the house, as well as a wood heated sauna on the lake are available, as well as bikes, kajaks and organised icefishing and snowmobile trips. Breakfast is delicious and even the dinner perfect, self made by the host and containing local food as reindeer and fish.

Service was excellent, the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There is a great selection of freely available equipment for exploring the surroundings (bikes, canoes etc.). The freely available Sauna was a great bonus after spending a few days staying in a tent and walking around the nearby Lemmenjoki National park. The host has lovingly turned an old boarding school in the wilderness into a cozy hotel, while the rooms are small due to the history of the place, they were perfectly clean and the atmosphere and interesting details more than makes up for the facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast too, while the selection might not be comparable to the largest chain hotels in the middle of a metropolis, at least for us, there was a perfect selection of cold and warm dishes.

I liked everything about this place, it had a wonderful ambience about it. I think a lot of thought has gone into it’s design and set up. Spotlessly clean throughout. I wish everywhere I stayed was like the Korpikartano!

Absolutely nothing. Everything was more than great!

Everything was just perfect: enchanted place, like in a fairy tale. The staff is so nice and friendly, breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared every morning. Super clean, amazing sauna included, you can borrow bikes, kayaks and boats to row on the lake...reindeers passing by to say hi from time to time, teas and kettle, relax spots both outside and inside...what else could you ask for?

Nice hotel in a great position, away from everything and surrounded by nature, located directly on a lake. The position is perfect to visit Lemmenjoki National Park and to do many other activities. Rooms are simple but comfortable and breakfast is very good with a nice selection of different things. Very quiet and relaxing place.

the room is to small, and there is no view: small and high up windows. bathroom to small too and completely wet after taking a shower

Blackout shades or blinds help to sleep, when sun is shining all the time, and they were missing.
