Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us with our needs. Room is spacious and comfortable. Location is great and walkable to all the main sightseeing spots. Breakfast is amazing with a lot of variety.

Little annoyances that you shouldn't have to deal with in a hotel of this calibre. Coffee machine was leaking and we had to call them a few times to replace it. The wardrobe door wouldn't close properly, meaning the wardrobe light was always on and and we had to put a chair to force it to stay closed overnight. Room cleaning was very slow, it's like they assumed you'd be out all day and they had all the time in the world to make up your room. They offered a 25' massage for 69 Euro pp and the massage was done in a hotel room by a Thai masseuse who spoke like she didn't want to be there. Do yourselves a favour and don't offer such services since you don't have proper facilities and staff. The hotel does not have a spa, pool or EVEN A SAUNA, which is highly unusual for Finland, where it's mandated that every person has the right to access a sauna. Staff at reception were not very friendly and looked overworked.

Gorgeous hotel with Art Deco vibe. We were offered an upgrade to a Luxe room for 30 Euro/night and it was totally worth it. The room was huge, with a separate living area and soaring ceilings. The interior design was just exquisite! The cocktails and staff at the bar were very good - make sure you visit! The buffet breakfast was included in the room rate and had lots of tasty, healthy and high quality choices. Also a great barista to order lattes, espressos etc. The location is very central and close to the port. You can walk everywhere.

The room temperature was also wrong. Either to hot or to cold. Just didn't work right.

Very Nice buffet breakfast with surprisingly good scrambled eggs. Excellent location for walking the city. Highly recommend the restaurant's beef cheese burgers and French Fries.

Breakfast was a bit crowded and hectic . Maybe the lobby could offer some tea / coffee while waiting for the room to be ready etc .

We were celebrating 35 years of friendship and were welcomed with a lovely note and chocolates . The spotless room was large , on the top floor with beautiful roof top views . Nicely furnished , large comfy bed , the heating was perfect ( we both have just spend a night in another ICE COLD hotel that was obviously trying to save in heating expenses :( ) Thick bath robes and slippers . Nice expresso machine and well equipped mini bar . Very nice breakfast , unfortunately a bit crowded and therefor hectic . Nice staff overall . And perfect location , quiet street right in beautiful Kaartinkaupunki ,close to everything .

Note - there is no sauna at the hotel - this didn't bother us at all.

Lovely hotel, centrally located - about 15 minute walk to the main railway station. Very nice feel to the hotel and the staff were all very good. The breakfast was very nice with a good mix of both hot and cold food. The bar food was very good - the barman was delightful.
