Nothing for the house, but the city of Kemi is not really worth a stay.

Perfect stay for a night, beautiful wooden house in the old station building.

There's no kitchen available to cook meal. There is a very small safe for a few things but no locker to put your bag/lugagge in.

The room was big, quiet even though it's in front of the railway. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The building is pretty and the café downstairs really good.

Keycard system did not work in one night, and it took a while to get help. Luckily it was not very cold weather.

Very nice and cosy small hotel, this was my second time in here. Breakfast is very good.

A nice old wooden house right at the platform, tastefully decorated. We had a cosy room and a delicious breakfast in the cafe downstairs.

very easy location right off the train line . having never been to Helsinki before my family and I had no problem navigating from the airport to the hotel via train. check in easy, restaurant at hotel was great, in fact we had the best salmon soup we had during our entire 10 day stay in Finland ( which is saying a lot since it appears to be a Finnish staple). history of hotel was fun to learn about .

No A/C, not even a fan in the room to keep the air moving. We stayed after a week of hot days and the room was swealtering all night, even with the window open! Would love to stay again, but not in the middle of summer!

The place was nice and clean and had a charming atmosphere! Comfy beds, clean toilets and hot showers. Breakfast was fabulous!

Extraordinary hot whether with nearly 30 degrees in northern Finland. Too hot under the rooftop. Only one window to open. Sadly than it blocks the blinding. So choose fresh air and sun all night (polar day in summer) or dark mode. I was the only guest in the dorm, so i could arrange with it. And slept like a stone. But if there are other travellers....

Only 10m to go to/from the trains. Everything clean and in good condition. Staff provides you with a code gor late arrival.

We were aware of was the bathrooms being separate from the rooms but the two things that could be added, are slippers and a bathrobe. They would make the transition from the room to the toilet and back a little more comfortable.

The hotel was very conveniently located, right by the train station. Our room was also really adorable and cozy.

to share bed with others unknown is a risk :) one night was with a lady who woke up at 4am for packing 2h the other night was staying alone in huge room! fantastic!

typically old Finnish wood house, connecting downstairs cafeteria which also used as breakfast spaces. very comfortable!

Had a great stay at Puttiikihotelli! Very nice interior, easy self check-in and even though I had a group room it really felt like I was sleeping in a hotel. Calm but cozy vibe and the staff was super nice. The included breakfast was extensive and I even got yoghurt instead of porridge (not a fan) which was really delicious. Also they were OK with me checking out later than normal because my train left in the afternoon.

The lockers could have been bigger. I was the only one in the room, so it didn't matter when I was staying there.

The decoration in the hotel was really pretty, and the location was quite nice. Also, the bathroom was really warm, which also was quite nice.

I had some issues checking in - their hours are limited, and they did not have self check in available (despite advertising it as such)…so, I was stuck waiting outside for almost 1.5 hrs in the cold, till someone could come and help me check in (and they were informed of my arrival time well in advance). Because the property basically closes by 5/6 PM, you’re kinda left on your own with not much nearby. And it’s more problematic when you can’t make local phone calls, since they have an emergency hotline.

It is located right by the Kemi train station, the property was well maintained. My train was leaving at 7 PM, and they were nice enough to let me extend my stay till then…very important especially since the Kemi train station itself is closed. The staff was overall pretty nice.

breakfast was €9,90, way to expensive. the room wasn’t clean, there were breadcrumbs and stuff on the nightstand. The curtains weren’t dark enough and didn’t close enough, the room was still very light. The room itself had no ventilation, the windows open was no option, because wasps and mosquito came in.
