The hotel is perfectly situated by the sea. Great view from our window. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Short walk into harbour to eat and watch the boats bobbing around. Very relaxing. Staff efficient and friendly. Delicious breakfast.

    Nothing.

The friendly host greeted us warmly and even offered sherry and whiskey and scrumptious homemade shortbread upon our arrival. We had a beautiful view of Loch Broom from our room. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We liked that we could walk into town for dinner.

Beautiful room overlooking the water. We were welcomed with a taste of sherry or whiskey! What a nice touch! The room had a pair of binoculars so we could look for birds or seals or dolphins on the water. The lounge area was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! A wonderful buffet, plus hot cooked-to-order choices.

    Nothing to dislike

Absolutely lovely place to stay, stunning location overlooking the loch, very clean and comfortable rooms. Brilliant to be able to use facilities like lounge area so freely and without fuss. Accommodation was lovely and quiet with loads of parking, yet just a short walk or drive into centre. The thing that really sets this place apart is the staff, absolutely wonderful welcome thank you Luke!) and really felt looked after during our stay, seemed nothing would be too much trouble and everyone incredibly welcoming and friendly. No hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay, would be a pleasure to stay here again. Thank you Harbour House!

Lovely modern hotel in a spectacular lakeside setting looking over to the mountains. A friendly welcome, ample parking, comfortable room and a hearty breakfast. There is a garden and also an indoor lounge area looking onto the lake. Just a short walk into Ullapool itself for the local restaurants.

The room was lovely - and better than I expected. An updated photo of the property - and view from the lounge room would encourage more travellers here. It was a lovely place to stay, close to the small village for meals, coffee place down the road was local and also a supermarket and petrol station for travellers passing through on the NC 500. Staff were lovely and even someone from NZ (home!) The lounge room was a great place for a quiet moment to watch the ferry berth or just soak up the view of the mountains and water. Lovely homely feel - would stay again.

A well appointed modern large lochside bed and breakfast situated on the shores of Loch Broom. Very friendly welcome-offered a small glass of sherry or whisky upon arrival. Nicely appointed room. A few minutes walk to local pubs/restaurants. Very convenient for nearby ferry terminal or if travelling the North Coast 500. Tasty breakfast.

Only niggle was that the wash-hand basin was tiny so difficult to use and impossible not to splash water on the floor or onto the toilet roll that was fixed to the side of the sink housing. Bathroom could benefit from a shelf for toothbrush, etc.

Warm, friendly welcome. We were offered a glass of sherry or whisky - something unique in my travel experience. Room small but quiet and comfortable. Our room had a nice view over the loch. Good TV. Bed not hard (great for us!) so slept well. Kettle and biscuits. Bathroom very small. Good shower. All staff very friendly and kind. Breakfast very good. Wide choice of cereals, seeds, fruit and cooked. We only stayed one night but would very happily have stayed longer.

    Nothing

As soon as we arrived, we had the best welcome from the lovely Newzealander (sorry we didn’t get your name). He offered us a dram of whiskey and some home made shortbread which we had no where else on our NC500 trip. He was really chatty and made a real effort to make sure our stay was a memorable one. The ladies in the morning were just as friendly at breakfast, they could not do enough for us. Breakfast was fab. The views are incredible and there are some lovely local pubs for a drink in the evening. The room wasn’t the biggest, but that did not matter one bit. Would highly recommend, everyone should get tips on hospitality from the guy on the front desk!
