We all know that any journey to the most beautiful cities can be spoiled by a bad hotel or rented apartment. Although we spend less time there, trying to visit all the city's attractions, it is still very pleasant to return to a clean and comfortable space, rest in a good and comfortable bed, take a shower in a clean and modern bathroom, and wake up in the morning to enjoy the view from the window, to fill up with energy and motivation for the day ahead. That's exactly how we felt waking up in this beautiful apartment. As for the recommendations, we can add: excellent location in the city center, despite being centrally located, the room is quiet (probably due to good insulation), allowing for a good night's sleep and relaxation; nearby are cafes and restaurants, as well as public transportation and metro stations. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, there is a kitchen with everything you need. The furniture is new, everything is modern, without excess, but with taste. We were only disappointed by one thing - we were able to spend too few nights in this wonderful place 😉 We thank the host for their hospitality! We would love to stay there again. A coin is thrown into the di Trevi Fountain!

The room is spacy and comfortable with nice view of the Basilica of St. John in Lateran (must visit). Location is great, just 15 min on foot from Colloseum. Very near Manzoni Metro station. There is also kitchen which is perfectly equipped. I look forward to come back.

Location! Building, with beatuful hall, marble stairs and fancy lift. The appartment has fully equpped kitchen you can use. The room is bright, with high ceiling and beautiful view! The host, Giulianoi was very welcoming, attentive and helpful!

The accomodation was fully equipped, clean and spacious. It is located between two metro stations, so we could easily access the major sights, as well as easily get back after a long day. The view from the room was really nice too, it is located opposite the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. Giuliano was very friendly and we could contact him easily at any time. If you would like to spend some days in Rome, I recommend this place.

Even though the property is sound proofed including double glazed glass you could still hear the sirens outside on the mainstreet.

The noise of sirens at night time. The balcony and furniture in there look a bit neglected.

The property was really tidy, clean, and comfortable. The host was chatty and made me and my friends feel welcome.   One issue that really annoyed me and my friends was that (maybe because of the location close to the police or hospital), there were incredibly loud sirens of police or ambulances around at night.

You may need earplugs as the ambulance siren noise at night was very noisy. Stairs in the entrance and lift to the 4th floor may not be for everyone .

Clean and tidy.

The bedroom was very clean and tidy on arrival. The view from the window was lovely, with a table and chairs set on the balcony if we had of wished to sit out in the evening for the views. There was a big open kitchen, with tea bags/ sugar available. A cooker, however according to previous information, was not allowed to be used due to fire regulations. Not sure how others were cooking their meals as we ate out on these occasions. The apartment I believe consisted of around 3-4 rooms; to which others rented for their stay. We had a family (children) present in the room besides us so it was noisy at times. We wasn’t aware this would be the case. There also didn’t seem to be an age limit on who can make the bookings. Which can feel intimidating at times on your own when using the kitchen and being presented with strangers for the first time (maybe should have read into the booking more/should have been mentioned on description). Check out is at 10am and the host ensured a reminder text was sent 15 minutes prior to this. I felt this was a little forward, an almost push to say “don’t overstay your welcome”. Appeared that check out isn’t lenient, and also know baggage left after checkout is charged for at €5 per bag, so we didn’t bother to ask to leave them there for the few hours extra we needed to. I don’t believe I would stay here again. Maybe wasn’t what I was expecting as previous descriptions had more positive reviews. And feel it’s overpriced for a room, with toilet only. My booking stated that breakfast was included and on the board in the property mentioned breakfast was served 8-10. However, when asked, I was informed no breakfast was included. At this point, I felt it was better to just not ask further.

A pile of garbage in front of the main entrance was a poor sight, acknowledging it was something outside the owner's hands. The bathroom drains need cleaning more often, as the shower fills up with water easily, and it takes time to drain. Not a massive issue, but something to be mindful of.

Checkin was smooth and easy. Communication with the owners was very good; they were responsive and accommodating to our questions. The location was very good, close to amenities and public transport options. The apartment was very nice, with shared facilities that were clean and useful.

One thing that disappointed us was that we rented the room specifically for the kitchen, which we knew was shared. We love to buy local produce and cook for ourselves. It’s a big, well equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, cook top, microwave and dishwasher but we were told we couldn’t use the cook top for fire related reasons. This defeated the whole purpose of having access to a kitchen. We only used the kettle to make tea. And we could have just got a hotel room with a kettle! So this fell short of our expectations especially as the kitchen access would have boosted the price considerably. The wifi only worked in one part of our room ( the room with a view) and access was intermittent there too, which made it frustrating. Despite Giuliano trying to help, it would be great if they had a booster connection for this room.

The room is in a great location and is a very short walk to a bus or metro that can get you everywhere in Rome. Giuliano and Stephanie were very helpful. The view from the room is extraordinary and you can sit on the tiny balcony and soak it in. The bed and pillows were extra comfortable and the bathroom is spacious with a great shower, which has very hot and strong flow. The two local restaurants which were very close-by had a great selection of local treats and lovely staff. There are smallish grocers around for water, drinks, fruit and basics and they are very close and a PAM supermarket within a very short walk. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space and enough hangers for two people which was a rare find! Thanks for our stay!

Everything about this apartment was fantastic. Giuliano was brilliant in every way, very friendly and helpful. The location is great, nearby Lateran, with everything you need close by (restaurants, historic sites, bakeries, shops,..). Great view from the balcony, safe and cosy area. The room was very clean with large beds. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay: fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal. We had a very pleasant stay. Aria Rome Rooms - highly recommended!

Everything at Aria’s Room was really great. The view from our balcony was very pretty, breakfasts very tasty, clean room and our host Giuliano so helpful! When we will come back to Rome we will stay again at Aria Room Rome.
