  • “I will give them points for providing a clean doona. The bed was medium soft. They offered and made tea on arrival with cake. We were ushered into the office, the manager was nice however it felt strange being watched by him. The registration process took a very long time.”

  • The Golden Ridge Hotel Review score: 4

“The only thing worth mentioning after a four hour trip was the bed, otherwise the mattress was very comfortable. the shower pressure and the dental kit, that’s besides the fact it was two beds put together. Otherwise I hated it, the Staff tried hard to fix it right but I just wasn’t happy as the hotel facilities are not as described and wasted an eve and morning of my life there.”

  • The West Gate Bungalow Review score: 10

“From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the 2 most hard working and amazing hosts we could possibly meet Nilanthi and Dissanayaka. We had Tea and Ginger biscuits as soon as we arrived and a warm towel. We were offered a choice of beautiful rooms. The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. We checked out and visited the local tea factory. They let us leave our luggage at the bungalow until we returned. On our return, we were about to leave and Nilanthi called us back as she had made us another pot of tea and biscuits. I would highly recommend The West Gate Bungalow on your stay at Nuwara Eliya 10 out of 10 xx”
