The monkeys were awake very early which meant we were awake too. It was a playground on the roof. 😳

Everything, I can't mention only one thing. From the drive from the gate, the welcome from Lorraine at reception, the boat cruise, the knowledge and supper care of our guide. It all added up to a supper stay.

The only thing we weren't aware of before arriving was that there are no self-drives allowed in the reserve, so unless you have booked a boat trip or a game drive, you cannot see any of the game in the park, AND there is then an additional cost to these activities which you may not have prepared for.

This Africamp is beautiful with a fantastic view of Jozini dam. the tents are clean, and beautifully decorated for every comfort, and the hot tub....Definte glamping! We went in January and the park was full of baby animals everywhere, not to mention the Nyala herd in the camp.

Although we enjoyed it, I don't believe that the game drive is value for money.

Just absolutely loved being in the middle of the quiet and serene nature. The hot tub is always a great spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

The road from Jhb to Africamps is in real bad shape and 100"s of trucks use the road from Middelburg to Richardsbay. Not a relaxing drive.

Location is excellent. Views for ever. Wild life in and around the camping area is awesome.

We started seeing giraffe, zebra & buck as soon as we drove through the gate which was amazing. The tent was such a different experience than staying in standard accommodation. We loved the animals coming right up to the deck. It was very comfortable, clean and overall an amazing stay. We will be back as well as want to try the other Africamp destinations!

It was the ultimate glamping experience. Surrounded by sounds of nature and having the different animals come to you was the highlight. We almost never had to leave our private area, pure bliss. Kudu, warthogs, impala and bucks, rabbits etc. Just walking freely for you to engage with. The boat cruise gave us 3 of the big 5 experience, a must do. Definitely will go back.

The road from N2 is gravel and quite a distance, need to bring bigger car for it. The road is maintained but would not use a small car. Breakfast packages to be accessible online for budgeting purposes. If possible if they can improve and allow an overnight order for these packages incase one changes their mind.

Its in the game reserve, surrounded by nature and wild animal. Awesome experience. The kids loved it. Clean, though tented accommodation it had everything you need. Game interaction begins when you leave N2. The shop great idea. Will order their breakfast next time

The tent has black mold on the inside and lost of spiderwebs collecting dust. The insects were very bad at night esp being drawn to the light. They could offer mozzie nets over the beds as we had plenty insects sleeping with us at night. The wooden deck needs some TLC or treatment and the little shop could have a bit more to offer, esp when the nearest town is 50km away. There is no privacy, so you can hear and see everything from the next tent. It would of been nice if there was some kind of bush or wall in between us esp for those who wants to wear a bathing suite in the hot tub, but feel like someone might see all your imperfections. I still had an amazing time, just relaxing and connecting with nature. Still one of the best places I went to in a long time.

I loved the friendly staff and the little shop was simple and woked on a trust system. I loved the hot tub and the nature. Esp the nyalas coming right up to the deck. The bathrooms are clean and the kitchen is cute.

Pool needs cleaning, has some algae at the bottom. Light on the porch should be moved, attracts to much bugs(can't keep it off as it's the only outside light)
