Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They give you a Ducky for your bath. Rare to find management with a sense of humour. When I saw that bath after a week in the bush in Zambia, i nearly wept! Quirky decor. Bang on the best location. Food was excellent. I dont think we stay anywhere else in Joburg in the future.. And it is the little things that count. A make up mirror near a window. Much appreciated. Bath that easily takes 2. Proper coffee. Quality iron and ironing board. Crispy linen. Crazy fast room service. Breakfast was bang on. The statue at the bathrooms makes using a public toilet, my pet hate, amusing and intriguing. Oh and Melrose Arch rocks.

South AfricaThere was a fire alarm around 3am on the morning of 17th that woke up all the guests. It was really loud, and we weren't sure if it was a real situation or a false alarm. Some guests proceeded to exit the building whilst others waited outside their rooms. It was all confusing. There was no communication during or after about this incident. Baring this experience, it was an enjoyable stay.
Room was spacious, there was both a bathtub and shower. Staff was friendly. Location was great, was a short walk to restaurants and shopping mall.

Lovely, quiet room overlooking the beautiful pool area. Great location - we felt secure and safe to walk around with many restaurants and shops nearby. Had dinner at the hotel's Aduna Bistro three times because it was so delicious.

South AfricaI had requested early check-in because of long traveling from Brussels via Heathrow landing in OR Tambo to begin meetings at 9am. When I came to the hotel after 12pm, we could not get to even have one room ready for us to have a good shower and change of clothes so we could attend a braai festival one of our clients have invited us to attend at 3pm in Pretoria. We were 2 hours late as a result because we only got the room around 2pm and were caught up in traffic. I believe they could have provided us with an alternative.
Great location and pleasant staff at reception, house keeping, meal times and bar.
