This isn't your standard self-catering holiday destination, the house amazed us with personal and thoughtful touches. Each bedroom had their own en-suite (what a pleasure!!), including bathroom heaters in each one for those chilly nights. The beds were very comfortable! The fireplace in the middle of the living area is perfectly placed AND is cleaned and reset every morning. Our kids had such an amazing time, we could left them roam free like real farm kids! The little dam is choc a block with bass, each kid (and the big dad kid) caught at least one bass (catch and release).

Unfortunately the wifi was down for the majority of our stay due to a fault.

We enjoyed the cosiness of the cottage with the fireplace being handy. The dogs popping into visit made us feel at home.

We had to go home too soon

Lovely warm welcome from Anna and Kate. Fresh flowers in each room was such a special touch. Not something I have seen before when booking accomodation. Linen and towels of great quality and lots of little additional thoughtful touches put in. The fireplace was the highlight. Absolutely stunning and gives the entire cottage such great ambience. All rooms having en suite bathrooms really was great for privacy and convenience We will definitely be back!

EVERYTHING. It was perfect. It definitely exceeded our expectations. The farm is absolutely gorgeous, the dogs are friendly and loveable and Kate and her staff were completely the perfect hosts. Its peaceful and relaxing and I cant wait to get back there

What an exceptional host and facility! From the very warm welcome letter, to the fresh milk from the neighbouring farm and the homemade biscuits to the beautiful farm itself, staying at Beverly is a real treat. The small details like putting the electric blanket on before arrival and stocking up firewood made our stay wonderful. The hosts also allowed us to take a walk around the farm which was just wonderful.

Nothing! Despite being repeat-repeat guests, this stay exceeded our expectations yet again.

The Thatch Cottage was spacious and well equipped. The fireplace and braai area ensured cosy indoor and outdoor living areas. The breakfast was delicious and prepared thoughtfully and with great care by Ruth, Anne and the team. Sunrise over the valley was stunning. Hiking to and up iNhlosane Peak was an unforgettable experience. Kate's team went to great trouble to ensure we had a generator to be able to watch the rugby. Thank you!

It was extremely cold and we didn’t have electricity for more than 12 hours. While this was in no way the accommodations fault as it was the area that was out, the house itself was freezing so with the lack of heating blankets etc, it really was extremely cold.

Loved the little extras that had been left. Anna and Ruth were so accommodating and helpful. The farm dogs were lovely and my kids had such fun with them.

Everything Beverley Country Cottages, The Stables is our go to place in the midlands - we love the location, the fireplace, this specific cottage is our favorite, but, we have stayed in others. Peaceful doesn't sound like the best word but, if you need a recharge and rest this is the place for you. When we think Midlands we think Beverley Country Cottages!

Electric blankets on all beds for Winter.

What a beautiful home. The staff were always available and very accommodating. Ruth even came out to light a fire for me on a cold evening. It is very peaceful and has all amenities I needed to cook meals for our family. I would definitely stay again.
