United KingdomThe hotel is dated and could do with some refresh and the hairdryer's plug supplied, did not match any of the sockets in our room.
The staff was friendly and the facilities and rooms clean. The pool and pool bar helped us relax and the views over the ocean helped us relax. Very well situated and a short walk brings you to the beach and/or town area. The rooms are comfortable and we loved the lower level room with the small outside patio area with the seaview.. defenitely the best room.. the breakfast was basic and buffet style and we really enjoyed having the variety.

South AfricaFor a hotel, they did not have undercover parking available and you had to pay to park.
It was nostalgic as we grew up in the area passing the hotel and finally decided to stay over on a trip to Durban. Rooms were large with a lovely sea view. Cool sea breeze to help with the Scottburgh heat. Staff were friendly. They made an effort to arrange our meals as we have dietary requirements.

The hotel is great! Friendly helpful staff, who are always ready and willing to help. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner. The pizzas were fantastic. Great pool area, my kids enjoyed the baby pool. Beautiful view.

DenmarkOur bathroom was a little gross: it smelt very damp all the time. It was very clean. Just the smell. No vegan options at the restaurant for lunch and dinner. You can ofcourse remove the cheese from meals but then the meals are very unfulfilling as there is absolutely no vegan protein. I did ask the hotel months in advance to please have vegan options at brekkie: and only halfway through the stay, were we offered some vegan sausages at brekkie. So I'd recommend bringing alot of nuts, nut butter, protein bars and shakes for all the vegans.
The location was unbelievable. We had a room that was dead centre on the 3rd floor facing the ocean. OMG, the morning sun ups and the evening lightning storms over the water were too magical to describe. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our luggage arrived a day later and they just looked after it at reception for us.

Hong KongThere was a wedding on and guests weren’t informed prior to the booking. I feel that the wedding party took up a lot of the hotel space and it was really noisy. We could only be checked in at 2pm so it was a bit of a wait and we couldn’t be accommodated a bit earlier. I think the hotel could have been a bit more attentive to their guests.
The view from the hotel is lovely. The bar areas are a great space to have drinks. They offer a buffet breakfast which is really convenient.

South AfricaThe hotel opens for public day visit and we felt our privacy was little bit taken away at the common area like the pool. But we understand, this is the other way of generating revenue. Some staff at the kitchen need to be trained to make everyone feel welcome. There is one staff who even took our coffee and food before finishing to eat. Let alone she didn't even ask if we are done.
The most amazing thing in this resort is the ocen view and the ocean breeze in the morning. Their rooms are quite big and best for family holiday. The food was also good and served on time. We were served mainly by two couple in the restaurant, the made our stay memorable. The hotel also do daily activities, which keeps us busy most of the time. The best was Karooke night, it was fun and my kids enjoyed to the fullest.

United KingdomSome locks on the widows would allow partial opening without the risk of the local monkeys getting into the rooms to search for food - there were warning signs about this but the windows could be either locked shut or left open but unlocked. Just a small point but sometimes it is good to have fresh air rather than rely on the a/c or ceiling fans.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice pool and grounds. Good choice of foods from menus. Breakfast was plentiful and with a very good range of options.
