Carpets stains makes room look dirty and breakfast was mediocre for the price paid. The aircon in the room needs to be replaced. The property was overpriced in my opinion. Couldn’t get a golf game even though I booked to stay on the property.

Location and dinner was good, staff go out of the way to assist.

The owner very kindly let me stay in my room until my driver came to pick me up, free of charge, for a few hours and also extended a bit of the breakfast bar timing for me as well! They were also very prompt in accomodating a late meal for when I arrived (which was delicious and the first time ever having malva pudding!) and also ensured my safety as a lone traveller by repeatedly checking in on me enroute to the the hotel.

The location was perfect for an overnight stay towards Eastern Cape. Facilities are excellent and comfortable, and the food is 10/10.. The manager and staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. Beautiful, peaceful countryside surroundings.

The Lodge was amazing. The food, breakfast and dinner was fantastic. I would highly recommend you stay in for the dinner. We used the golf facility as well and I must say it was the best 9 hole golf course I've ever played.

I must say I expected something a little more from the food. We missed supper as our function finished after 8pm. Would have been nice if a cheese option left in the room was on the table. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. No sourdough or other bread options - very basic. I was so looking forward to something a little more!! In saying that what we did have was tasty Coffee was disappointing - coffee machine was broken. Gareth did however make me coffee from his own personal machine.

The staff - Bongi and Gareth were great. Very friendly and helpful.

No still water available in room's fridge - only an ?old wrapped Mac burger in the fridge. An establishment like this should have a small Nespresso machine in their rooms like many other of its kind has. A foot stool or ottoman in the bathroom could be an asset as there is nowhere to put clothes etc. The shower head in the shower is so high!; and so is the shelf on which to put stuff or reach theirs - an older or short person like me can never reach there!! Only one large bath sheet and one normal bath towel supplied - different sizes? The hatch in the ceiling in the toilet - many dirty marks

All very commendable - really very comfortable and staff are so very friendly and helpfull. The styling and quality of furnishings and decor are of the best! The sereneness and view are like very few others.

The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The property is also beautiful and relaxing.

Small maintenance issues need addressing : # lamp at side of bed (on right, when entering), not working, due to faulty wallplug (Unit 9); # toilet after flush, keep on letting water into bowl, as the mechanism, does not stop/cut, the waterflow.

Breakfast was good. Just need some Almond milk, as we are lactose-intolerant (can not drink normal milk).

Rooms are clean and spacious. All amenities available in the room. Interleading rooms are great for families. Food is fresh and delicious. Staff friendly and available when you need them. Lodge easily accessible from the freeway, yet so quiet and peaceful.
