This is an exceptional place to spend time . Excellent accomodation and scenery

Hate to say this, because we had an amazing stay here. But, due to a 95% occupancy of the cabins, there are a few small points of maintenance that need to be addressed. Like a little bit of mold in the shower and the lack of a towel hook in the bathroom. But again, definitely not a reason not to stay here!

Location was amazing, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. All the extra options (breakfast game drive, pizza box etc.) are also great. Would 100% recommend this to everyone. Whole proces of very easy, from checkin to checkout. Also QR codes all over the place with instructional videos how to make a fire for the hottub etc. Also can greatly recommend the breakfast game drive. The owner drives you past his interesting family of animals, after which there will be a abundant breakfast waiting for you.

Its a beautiful property !The view from the cabin is fantastic , it was wonderful to see the animals grazing freely and happily. Effort has been taken to create an environment of being rustic, earthy yet comfortable. The instructions were perfect and we could find our way easily to our cabin.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE WE JUST LOVED IT. WELL ORGANISED AND PERFECT LOCATION. WE LOVED THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO DRIVE ANY WHERE EVERYTHING WAS AT THE PROPERTY. WILL BE BACK HAD AN AWESOME TIME BUT WILL STAY LONGER NEXT TIME.

Beautiful accommodation and lovely setting.

Exceptionally well equipped cabin, all guest requirements well considered and accommodated. The hot tub and outdoor hot shower were both wonderful. Waking up to grazing Rhinos was spectacular!

The decor

Everything was pleasing. It would be great to receive top up stacks of wood each day when staying there more than 1 day. It was our honeymoon so we splurged and it was so worth it but the cost of this stay is pricey for ordinary getaways for us.

The accommodation is excellently designed and aesthetically appealing. It also comes with all the necessary amenities. The manager is easily contacted at any time when necessary. The place a surrounded with wildlife and beautiful views. The Jacuzzi’s were an excellent addition to the accommodation.

Only negative - smoke from internal stove seemed to filter around the outdoor seating area. Maybe direct the chimney up straight to alleviate this problem.

A delightful experience from beginning to end. We were only staying for one night but would have loved to do more. Everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I would highly recommend Buff & Fellow Eco Cabins and would certainly return again if I was in this location. The cabins were beautifully decorated and the morning breakfast wraps were very tasty. In summary, a lovely time, surrounded by wild animals....woke up to two rhinos wandering outside.

This is an exceptional place to relax and rewind. The surroundings are tranquil full of sights and sounds of farm and nature. The cabins are very beautiful, neat, and well equipped. We love this place so much, that we already made a new booking for December!

The extremely nice cabins with the peace and quiet environment around is just the best. Then of course the fact that you can chill in a jacuzzi watching buffalo’s walking around.

The lake could have been a bit cleaner, it had lots of green stuff on top and was not to inviting to go in with the little canoe. Our immediate neighbours played music quite loudly and ruin a bit our stay.

The place was lovely, location, facilities.

Exceeded expectations, 1 night was not enough. Will definitely be returning.

It was a beautiful get away! Surrounded by nature and animals, it really gave us the perfect atmosphere to start our honeymoon 🤍 Truly beautiful, serene, peaceful and wonderful place!

Better planned storage facilities in the bedrooms , shelves , bedside tables wardrobes , dressers etc . Sockets near mirrors for hairdryers.

Beautiful location. , Lovely to be amongst the animals . Owner had a real passion for the growth of the cabins. The game drive and provision of meats to purchase

Really minor. Everything was great. But dishwasher didnt work properly.

Thought of everything you could need in your cabin. Beautifully kitted out! Everything was sublime.

The wifi wasn’t great but small thing

Stayed in an eco cabin, very unique experience. Outside shower with a view was great. Wood fired hot tub while drinking wine and watching the animals was a great was to relax. Recommend the game drive breakfast. Seeing rhinos with horns in such close proximity was a treat.

Absolutely nothing

Everything. The best vacation I have ever had.

Maybe just a curtain or blind in the main bedroom (above the bed) to block out the light at night.

A special and nice place for a breakaway. Will tell all my friends and vist again.
