My booking had breakfast included for both mornings but I was still charged a separate bill for breakfast which I was refunded more than 2 weeks after my check out. Can the reception staff kindly be more careful when processing our check ins, check out and any outstanding dues because this mistake was negligence on the property yet caused me great inconvenience.

Lots of facilities for kids to play. Beautiful and well kept lawns, facilities and rooms. We were late for breakfast on Saturday morning after taking a morning hike and the kitchen staff was still kind enough to serve us breakfast after cut off time, we really appreciated that. My kids loved everything about Bushmen’s Nek and they’re already looking forward to our next visit.

no Tupperware for temporary storage in the fridge. we paid R200 for the games room and used nothing that was for free, but had to pay extra for everything we did use, so it wasn’t really explained but we felt like it wasn’t a good deal. we had African music from 7pm till 5am been played very loudly and singing and shouting in drunk voices by many people that entire time, which kept us awake and annoyed us a lot, we did report it to reception.

. stunning views, large communal area for my whole family, the heated pool was a hit! the animal farm was a good attraction as was the horseride. Bowls was also a fun tradition for our family in the Berg. all in all, a great time was had by all!

Communication from First Group was as poor as I've ever experienced dealing with almost any "big" company. Really, really bad in that department. The road to the hotel was in very poor condition on our way there - the pouring rain in the days leading up to us arriving didn't help, but it took us nearly an hour to get through the 17km (one of the two dirt roads to get there from the main, tar road) stretch.

The area is stunning. It really highlights just how lucky we are to live in this immensely beautiful country. We took a walk to a waterfall nearby (2.6 km's each way) and took in the views of the incredible mountains and natural beauty surrounding us. The staff were wonderful. Very warm, friendly and helpful.

Even though there is a gravel road,the road was well maintained and we had no problems traveling on it.The Bergview cottage where we stayed is not on the premises of the property.It is 3.1km away.When I booked originally,I was not aware of the fact as the cottage is advertised as part of Bushmans neck.

The Cottage has all the facilities that one might need-lovely rooms,very comfortable and beautiful view.

The staff took about 40minutes to serve us breakfast and they got our order wrong. The hotel could use a method of having a buffet for breakfast instead of being limited to R130 for breakfast. There was a confusion with the bill, the hotel overcharged me for breakfast but then the confusion was sorted out, that is why I suggest the buffet option coz even the staff get confused with working out the correct amount. The restaurant closes at 7.30pm which is ridiculous considering the travel time and the very bad gravel road(35km) going to the hotel, we arrived late at 8pm only to found out that the restaurant was closed and we were very hungry

The price of some of the food/drinks menu items are ridiculous. It’s also little cheeky to pay for a games card as well as having to insert coins to enjoy some of the games room activities

It’s beautifully nestled amongst the mountains and so the views are spectacular Loved that there was a hot pool to enjoy and loved the outfit activities. There was always something to do

The dirt road in takes a little bit of battle to get over but worth it to get to the hotel.

There is no WiFi in the room and having dstv is just outdated. WiFi and Netflix app is a must going forward.

Was a bit disappointed that on our second night when we got back after a long day around 8pm, the fresh lemon water dispenser that had been available the first night was empty. We were thirsty and had no other fresh water to drink, and no staff were anywhere to be found.

Awesome location in Constantia near the botanical gardens. Loved the bathroom with its marble and huge tub. Bed was comfortable and room was large. Nice tall ceilings and pretty architecture, like a French country manor. Breakfast was nice.

The food at the restaurant are a bit of a hit and miss. Breakfast was a bit dry and pasta was stodgy and bland. The steaks and burgers are great. Brownies are delicious but cake was dry and stale. The lawnmower at the pool area at 10am meant we could not relax by the pool in the morning.

The staff are amazing,welcoming , friendly and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and the pool area and views are the highlight of the stay. We enjoyed our stay emensly.

The 45 min drive on the gravel road.,but when you get their the views are amazing. Rooms should have fans,during the day very hot.
