None it was great,we did however ask the reception to exchange a room from a 4 sleeper to an interleading 2 sleeper and she said it was not possible. So 2 of our group had to sleep on the couch. As they were under 18 and did not want to sleep alone. If the staff can go above and beyond for the client's as we were willing to sacrifice and expensive cottage for the 2 sleeper

Accomodation was beautiful, facilities amazing and everyone was very happy with the stay total of 32 people.

    - One of the unit we booked did not have any cleaning equipment (broom or a broom) - WiFi was only available around the reception area.

Overall, it's a very lovely area situated in a nice remote area. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were clean with very comfortable beds!

The lounge couches need to be revamped or renewed. Couldn't sit on them. They were sinking. So all in all I didn't use the lounge.. I filled the jacquici in 12B..only to realise it wasn't working. . I'm going to be back on The 25th to 27th Aug. Hopefully I have a better quality stay.

The peace and tranquility was super super satisfying

Perhaps the kitchen utensils could be renewed and fresh milk is always a great idea.

One of the highlights of Midlands Saddle and Trout is the range of activities on offer. There is something for everyone, from hiking and horse riding to fishing and bird watching. The resort's location is also ideal for exploring the nearby Midlands Meander, a popular tourist route that takes visitors through picturesque countryside dotted with art galleries, craft shops, and restaurants. The staff at Midlands Saddle and Trout are friendly and knowledgeable, always on hand to offer advice and assistance. The restaurant serves delicious meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and the bar is well-stocked with a wide range of drinks. Overall, I highly recommend Midlands Saddle and Trout for anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in a stunning natural setting. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature.

The braai stand was a little far from the balcony but that was understood due to safety issues. The walk from the bar to the room was pretty daring in the dark. Perhaps some small lights on the pathway or road would have helped. Our phone lights came in handy.

Our arrival was with an exceptional start as an unplanned stay when we met Security Sandile. We did not have a booking and he was precise about the protocols of allowing us in Yet through all this, he still was so friendly and smiled the whole time through. We finally were afforded the best place on the premises...well my kids felt so...and had a safe and beautiful stay. The service was complimented by an active whatsapp invite to all announcements of load shedding and activities.

I tried calling numerous times to make special arrangements and was told the reservation department was busy and would call back. They never did even after 2 messages left. I eventually gave up. They have a hectic 9 hours of loadshedding a day and no gas options or backup.

Absolutely beautiful location and facilities, views from our room were amazing The staff are friendly Activities offered on site, which is good because the location is quite a distance from nearby activities

I tried all week to email property for early check in since it was my first time I didnt get a reply . Loadshedding is def a prob and it's not going away so I wasn't very impressed with the 2 candles in the draw and no lighter or matches or holders The resort is so modern so I'm sure there can be alittle more effort put into this like rechargeable lights,I know theres ones that work in Loadshedding but in my chalet the room one didn't and it's also not safe to have candles with kids .

Everything.it was my first visit and I will definitely come back

WIFI in the rooms are needed. Also an investment in solar or generators during loadshedding.

Friendly staff, the courtesy and effort to make the stay comfortable. The facilities and activities on site. The food at the restaurant was great.
