Listen, if you want to escape the fast and noisy urban life ,a review in writting does not do this place any justice,i say find your way to the lodge and let mother nature and the hosts especialy the ever smiling informative Natassia and story telling, free spirited Geyser get you settled in.The proximity to the Park gate, the view from our room to the food,exquisite!!!

Absolutely nothing.

The location right on the banks of the Crocodile River, the boundary of the property is the boundary of the Kruger National Park so we could watch animals from our veranda. Crocodile Gate was two minutes away. Our tent was extremely comfortable and added to the Safari experience. The food was delicious. But most of all the staff and our hosts could not have done more to make us feel so welcome.

3 courses for dinner rather than 2

Both the hosts and owner were very welcoming and the location of the property is excellent both to view game in and across the river as well as for access to the Kruger National Park. Both our evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The lodge represents excellent value for money.

Access to the lodge was a bit difficult as you have to phone or Whatsapp for entry (which is a bit of a problem if you don't have signal, roaming or WIFI access). I suggest an intercom system would be useful. But this didn't detract from the overall experience.

The lodge is conveniently place close to entry to the Kruger National Park. The views of the Crocodile River are magical, and you can experience wildlife right from the viewing deck (elephants came right up to the fence). The food was excellent and breakfast packs are available if you want to enter the park early. The safari tents were outstanding. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The hosts are amazing and you can feel and tell they love to make their guests feel at home. The location is perfect, next to the crocodile gate of the Kruger Park. This makes it really easy to go in and out. If you need anything, Allen and Melanie and the rest of the staff are there to help you. The food was delicious every day and if you go on safari early in the morning, they pack you a lunch which you can take with you. What made the location extra special, is the elephants walking on the river in front of the lodge. We were lucky to see them every day. We will definitely go back here and wouldn’t change anything!

The bathrooms could do with a bit more cleaning.

Location is superb, just outside Crocodile Bridge Entrance of the Kruger Park. View from the room we booked was overlooking the Park and river. We saw elephant, buck, deer, hippos, hyena.

Stunning lodge on the banks of the river, overlooking the park. The rooms are even nicer than the pictures…. Great view, spacious and beautifully decorated. Dinners, shared with the other guests, were delicious. The breakfast packs provided for those wanting to make an early start were equally as good. The hosts were extremely welcoming and we learnt so much from them. Their knowledge on insects was especially fascinating . We look forward to returning in the near future.

The view is amazing, straight to the park, and into the wilderness. You wake up, and immediately see animals on the shore. You’re on the pool, and they are right in front of you. Breathtaking.

Very nice lodge right next to the Kruger Park. You can see elephants and hippos passing by your lodge. Special shout out to managers Gherart and Natacha. They are so passionate about nature they can make you interested in everything between thermites and elephants.

It is a very beautiful lodge , with friendly staff and very delicious food. It is also very close to the Kruger National park entrance and we enjoyed the pool in the afternoons with the warm weather and the amazing animals crossing the river

Amazing lodge overlooking Crocodile river. You can see elephants and hippos directly from the lodge. Staff deserve particular praise, our managers on duty Geyser (sorry for potential misspelling) and Natasha are fantastic people - very friendly and accommodating. And thanks Bruce for his humorous stories. We couldn’t ask for more and very pleased about our stay.

Amazing location with exceptional staff. Lodges were clean and the view was stunning. Owners view that residents should share big tables for dinner worked brilliantly and everyone shared their stories. Only regret that we didn’t book for longer.

This is really a place to stay when visiting kruger! We absolutely loved this place. Managers and staff were amazing, very helpful. You could see the sunset and animals by the river, and there were quite a lot of different species to see! Food was absolutely delight here!! Our room was cleaned spotless every day! Stay here if you can!
