Very quiet, beautiful place. The houses are absolutely lovely and luxurious. Well styled and organized and spacious hidden in a beautiful environment. The dogs are happy and adorable. And we loved the small tood that was visiting us in the evenings. The owners had some family over but made us feel part of the event. And last but not least: the food is the best we had during our holiday!

The bugs! Haha, city people do not like spiders and 'miggies'. If you are reliant on wifi, make sure you have your own backup as signal doesn't reach the cottages.

Beautiful location, peaceful, serene and quiet. Our unit was spotless and comfortable and well kitted out for our needs. We stayed one night and it was the perfect stop over on our way home to JHB. Bonus was the friendly dogs that escorted us on our walks around the farm. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Very tasty breakfast and great value for money buffet! The service is exceptional. We used the wrong route coz we did not read the mail sent to us with directions and got stuck at 12 midnight. Dalmore team was quick to respond, they dispatched a land cruiser to rescue us at no charge at all.

Charming place in the middle of the countryside. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The dinner and the breakfast were amazing. The room was very spacious, well-decorated, and spotless. I will come back for sure!

Dalmore is a Wonderful Guest Farm (working farm) with True South African KZN Hospitality-Always Greeting, Friendly & Smiling. Peaceful and Quite with complete overview of the Drakensberg range-Absolutely Magnificent and Spioenkop Dam close by, walking distance from Dalmore. I had an older cottage at first and unfortunately there was a bat in my room and also mice. But as soon as I talked to the manager she immediately gave me a different cottage and took care to solve the problem. It’s a farm so it can happen, it has nothing to do with the cleaning.

I loved the place, it’s perfect if you want to take a break during your travels. There are a few attractions about 1 hour driving. But the place is so charming it is an attraction itself.

Since my cabin was a bit far from the central router, my internet signal was to week to use. Not really a negative, just something to remember when booking. I was easy enough to work in the dining room or the adjacent bar and lounge area.

The cabin I choose, because it had a fridge was at the end of the grounds. I did have dinner in the central dining room every night. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was nice and relaxed.

Would have made a big difference if there was a high chair as found it hard to contain our two year old during meals.

Having a swimming pool was fantastic for the kids. The view from the cottage was beautiful and the green open lawn made it easy for the kids to run around while keeping an eye on them.

It would have been helpful if the wifi wasn't only situated in the main house. There are no satellite channels, the farm had movies loaded onto the telly. You need to drive out to do any other activities.

The place had a cosy feel and lovely furnishing. The cottage was super clean. In cottage 2 there is an outdoor shower. The property is very well kept. The host Delyse was super attentive and helpful. The pool was maintained well and table tennis was fun. The garden is gorgeous. For a quiet, down time its the perfect place.

I love Dalmore! The kids love it and are entertained while the adults get to take in the beautiful and tranquil scenery. You can tell that the hosts really care and there is attention to detail that you don’t often see. Highly recommended!
