    Nothing

The Orchard Superior Family room and was so spacious especially having to also share with two kids, the room was very clean and neat. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast, there were variety of options . This is a real hidden gem and the kiddies will absolutely love the water park and adventure park amongst the other incredible facilities the resort that to offer. We will definitely visit again.

We had to call house-keeping at around 13:00 as our room had not been serviced on the 2nd day. They arrived promptly at 10:00 on the first. Our meal at the Bergview Restaurant was excellent, but served on cold plates. Our Beef Curry at the Vine Knot was definitely sub-standard.

The room has a Beautifull view. Breakfast was superb. Dinner at the one Restaurante where we had Kingklip that was on a special they say, was not that good, had better fish a previous time there. Thus, time the fish tasted rubbery, think it was frozen before it was cooked. All else was very good.

The buffet for supper is terrible. The food is absolutely poorly cooked half the foods were half cooked and some not to the worth. I have stayed at Drak Gardens 2 years ago and there was so buffet supper but this time there was one and the food was not up to standard.

    Lovely place peacefully

Tweens / Toddler area could have more toys/games to keep the toddlers busy.

We had a wonderful stay. We loved the facilities, our favorite was the heated pool. Staff were friendly, especially Siphamandla Ngcobo he was so helpful and always checking up with us.

    • Fir Tree - 4 Sleeper Self Catering Unit

The resort itself is aging and is in need of some refurbishment and modernizing. Our designated carpark and the path up to our unit entrance needed particular attention as it was a bit dirty and broken up. Our unit ceiling was also showing its age.

The property is huge with an abundance of activities to keep you busy. There is SO much to do, You pay for most activities but the cost is not unreasonable for the experience. The surrounding scenery is amazingly beautiful with numerous trails to explore. Our unit was clean and comfortable with ample space for our needs. The bathroom was evidently recently refurbished and was lovely.

The vegan food options at the buffet dinner and breakfasts were not the best, particularly at breakfast time.

The facilities and things to do at the resort were next level. I have never stayed somewhere with so many different activities and entertainment options. I would love to bring the whole family next time and take more advantage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay however felt that the activities were too far away from the units. The layout of the pool area also does not allow parents to watch their children adequately if they are moving from pool to pool. Self catering units should have parking outside the unit.

The staff were very friendly, rooms clean. Lots of activities to keep the whole family entertained.

The bathroom in number 83 Viewpoint was terrible. The shower mixer did not work properly. The shower curtain was inadequate and caused the bathroom floors to get flooded after every shower. The bathroom was very disappointing. The road to the hippo pools needs to be maintained. Not everyone comes with a 4x4 or SUV.

Excellent staff. Food was great. Excellent activities. Spa treatments were top notch. All in all great experience. We will definitely be back!

The a le carte restaurant was very slow, and not attentive at all. We left after 20min of not being served. Thankfully the buffet restaurant was fantastic so we went there.

Everything is lovely ,only suggest maybe having more umbrellas and stands available around the pool as it gets very hot midday.

There are so many things for families to do. Older kids enjoy everything available at the resort. Little guest activities help people interact as well as give a tired parent a small break. You are met by friendly, accommodating staff who make you feel at home.

Our family getaway trip was one of the best we've had. We enjoyed the resort facilities, especially the heated pool. We opted for the breakfast and dinner buffets - both which had a large variety of delicious food.

It catered well in terms of food for kids and people that have dietary requirements . The food was excellent indeed. The facilities are Eccles g as well for kids as well as adults . Free pony rides early in the morning is just some of the items .

Wi-fi doesn't work in the rooms, which is problematic while trying to work (especially in the evenings), and there isn't really any place to work at the main portion of the hotel. It would also be nice if there was better information about the hikes that could be done eg the distance of different routes and fitness levels required.

The staff were very friendly and there were plenty of activities to keep you busy. Lovely little shop on site for anything you might need while away. Loved the day-to-day WhatsApp messages that kept us informed about load shedding and activities on offer.
