Trees in front of the cabins

Great place to be, but I would suggest you cut trees in front of cabins we unable to see the dam.. But like the place and I'm. Still. Going to bring my family.

There was not much to do at lodge. Maybe upgrade on the facilities such as a having a pool. The shops are far distance and their bar is limited. No ice for sale... The lodge has potential.

This was a lovely place to stay if you want to just sit back and relax...staff was really accommodating and friendly.

Directions are not clear and getting to the place is a mission and a half. Directions on GPS lead you to drive straight into the dam but staff was very helpful and provided directions after contacting them. GPS location and direction should be updated online or a direction manual should be sent to clients. We were also promised transport services when checking out by a staff member but that didn't happen and had to find our own way home, which was disappointing. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you have your own vehicle preferably a 4x4 so the bad roads aren't an issue for you.

Scenery was beautiful and location is beautiful.

The stuff were so welcoming regardless of gender orientation and they ensured we got home safe. I also liked my cabin, it was nicely decorated like I requested and the view was amazing.

No heating system and no winter blankets. It was cold at night. Had to pay for iron.

The place is situated near Inanda dam which makes it cool. It was as advertised. Will definitely come back but in summer 😅

Unfortunately we checked in when there wasn't electricity. And we had to check out a day early due to the power cut. Great staff we were offered a refund, would definitely love to visit the place again to have the full experience.

It rained so we couldn't use the road we normally use , we had go use the other which was really bumpy and there was mud.. it's really not suitable for small cars

the road leading up to the entrance was extremely bad .there is not really activities you can do .we really would have enjoyed going out on the dam, I would suggest they invest in the paddle boats. there are no shops near by so its hard to top up on anything that may run out .and there is no microwave in the cabins.

The staff was extremely accomodating , they had no issue helping us with whatever they could .the cabins were clean and everything worked well . I would go again and stay even longer

The roads to the property was not ideal. We fortunately had a 2x4, not sure reaching the property with a normal car would be as easy. The property was in a rural area and in some places traffic getting to the property was very congested. You need to make sure you have all your food and drinks before you go into the area as there are no shops nearby

The view was amazing and very beautiful. We really enjoyed the bird life. The staff were supper friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean and well laid out. We did not miss the lack of TV at all. We would definitely go back if access was easier

TV in the chalet

The chalet was clean and comfortable.-The view was spectacular- the staff were very hospitable - definately will come back and bring my friends and family. One suggestion - please put tv's in the chalets. Only the one bedroom and 2 bedroom had. But thank you for making our stay awesome :)

The road is muddy, please try to put Gravel on the road. One toilet is faulty. Fix that it will cause customers to never come back.

Before I left I specificly ask- could a normal car get there. The response was yes. We managed to get into the parking but the roads aren't build for normal cars. We struggled every day to get to our parking. Yesterday the roof started leaking. It was a small leak next to the main circuit box. We had two broken floor tiles in the bathroom. My suggestion is to work on the road to the accommodation and to keep the maintenance up. It's a stunning place but the things mentioned above needs serious attention.

A microwave could have been useful. The birds overhead were very noisy, but only two cabins have overhanging trees. The neighbours in the surrounding area were loud but this was a once-off occurrence. The area is not enclosed alongside the dam, so you have to leave the property for a 1 min walk to the dam.

The view from the cabin was beautiful and the newer cabins will have an even better view with the large sliding doors. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly. The common area was great for relaxing. Our small 2-wheel drive car managed despite the rain and mud, but a 4x4 would be better.
