We feel that the bathrooms are looking very tired. And they have taken out the bridges from most of the rooms. Not good 😞

The website is inaccurate in its description of the hotel facilities. There is no elevator on the premises, no ramp for disabled persons to enter the facility, and navigate around the premises. I traveled with big, heavy bags, which I had to carry up and down many flights of stairs. The friendly staff are always willing to assist though. The television channel options are really poor and the picture quality in my room was not good at all.

The staff was somewhat nonchalant concerning our concerns but when we addressed them they did meet the need. Overall staff was decently nice and cordial.

The ambience of the hotel was pleasantly delightful. The landscaping bird singing was pleasantly serene, just hotel great place to be with upgrading bedding and staff availability and attention to guess this could be a five star hotel.

Although the rooms are very nice the bathrooms are looking very old, the cracked basin and the tiles in the shower area do need re-grouting and silicon sealant needs to be replaced. We have stayed here a number of times and in different rooms so we have a good knowledge of the hotel.

We like where the hotel is. Very convenient. The gardens are lovely. The staff are very welcoming. Breakfast is usually very good.

Some staff are just there for the salary e.g. I arrived back from a work function one evening at about 21h50. Went to the lounge with the intent to order an Irish Coffee for myself and my wife. Waited for 10 minutes without service then went to the bar counter where no one had been and waited there. Someone then arrived at exactly 22h01 and then proceeded to tell me the bar closes at 22h00 and they cannot help me. I understand that it must have been a change of shift as your foyer was full of employees and when I asked for the duty manager he/she had already gone home... and taxi's are an issue... However, the employees could have been working for the Post Office. I did not know the bar closes at 22h00 but no one was there to inform me or take my order beforehand. It may appear a small thing but after a very long day it was highly irritating to receive a non chalant attitude.

We have been coming here for a number of years my husband on business for 20 years. It is time that they started to re-grout the shower area + the silicant sealant also around the shower base etc. Also, time to possibly shampoo the carpets. We are always welcomed on arrival. We also enjoy a lovely breakfast and the lady who is in charge is really friendly and always remembers us.

Only thing I would say is if they would upgrade their pillows to different densities. A lot of hotels have 4 pillows of different density on the bed.

It's very quiet and professional. There are no ladies of the night hanging around the reception which is the cade now with a lot of sandton hotels. The rooms are lovely and gardens pretty.

Maybe the 10pm time for closing the bar and restaurant, but then they don't mind you bringing in your own bottle, and will even offer you ice bucket and glasses etc...I'm at home in this establishment.
