Place is situated in a lovely mountainous view. Fully equipped as a self catering unit. Host hospitality is 10/10. Highly recommended.

This fully self catering cottage was well appointed and situated on the quiet outskirts of Underberg. Very nicely appointed, with everything one needs and a lovely view of the Moluti mountains in the distance. Host Barry was friendly and chatty. We ate dinner at the country club over the road which was very good. No breakfast was offered as per their advert. I would be happy to stay there again.

The weather was rainy and cold while there, so we didn't manage to hike in the berg as planned, but did enjoy exploring the surrounds. The cottage is really comfortable so we still had a relaxing break.

This is in such a beautiful setting and so peaceful. Barry is really helpful and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. He gave us ideas on where to go as well.

The wood burner was great for the living area as the weather was cold. However the bedroom and bathroom had no other heating and were cool. The electric blankets made the bed warm

The apartment is clean and equipped with all the things needed to cook for ourselves. It was nice to have a barbecue in front of the lovely view. Barry went out of his way to accommodate all of our requests. He was cordial, kind and cooperative. Staying there is highly recommended

Fantastic quiet location with great views across the mountains.Hosts made us feel very welcome. The property was different as there were no high walls and security features. Which was nice and not necessary, we felt very comfortable and safe. Kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal. Hosts made us feel very welcome. Barry also booked our trip to Sani Pass which was an unforgettable experience.

Had the best time at J & B lodge. Barry and his wife are so friendly, warm and welcoming. As is Emmie their jackrussel! The lodge is so cozy and has everything you need and more.

The views from the lodge are wonderful and there is very comfortable patio furniture to enjoy them from. Barry is very helpful and the lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The log burner and electric blankets were perfect for a winter stay.

I had a great stay at J&B lodge! Barry was a wonderful host and helped me plenty to book an activity in town. He was super friendly, warm and his little dog Emmy is the cutest! Their place has all you may need for a comfortable stay and it's very close to all the shops and some restaurants.

The only negative was that the bathroom had a concertina door - when the door is closed, there are gaps at the top and bottom of the door. Other than that, the property was excellent.

The view was incredible. We met Barry when we arrived, he was really friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed. He let us know that he had no one scheduled to stay after us so we could have a later check-out which was highly appreciated. The apartment is cosy and looked after well. The facilities were clean, the kitchenette is fully stocked with a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge and all cutlery and crockery. The property is located just off the main road, on a well-maintained dirt road. There is a dam - I think it's on the property - that's a short walk away and we were looking forward to seeing that on the Sunday morning but I woke up sick and decided to sleep in instead. If we're in Underberg again, we will definitely stay here again.

every thing was functional and well provided

amazing surroundings, full of beautiful birds just a meter away on the porch. Barry is a great host. he provided us all information we needed . He even reserved a Sani pass tour for us in advance . He gave us good tips what to do and where to go / eat.
