The view of the ocean was beautiful. The location was ideal and a short drive to Hermanus. The cottage was very spacious and well kitted out with lots of little touches to make you feel very welcome. Ideal for a stay to just relax but also close enough to do many activities in the surrounding areas. Garth and Therese sent tons of suggestions which were all very helpful.

What a wonderful place to stay. Spectacular views of the sea and mountains. Very clean and furnished with attention to detail. Plenty of space and a comfortable bed with comfy bedding. Lovely welcome gifts. Privacy and very quiet location. Only the sound of the sea can be heard. Very lovely, funny dogs. Great hosts. The communication before and during the vacation is excellent and the super recommendations every day can't be topped. Thank you Therese and Garth for this unforgettable stay and the conversations with you. We felt at home and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Our hosts Garth and Therese were very friendly and accommodating. All the personal little touches made us feel at home right away. The exclusive cottage is perfectly equipped, situated in a great location with fantastic views and close proximity to awesome beaches, shops, restaurants and nature attractions. The attention to detail was impeccable. More than what we expected. It was really lovely. It was our wedding anniversary and we're met with a bottle of champagne and a freshly baked ciabatta bread from the owners. Enjoyed every moment of our stay.

We loved everything about our stay!

A luxurious, elegant and spacious stay! We were spoilt with fine touches....sherry on arrival, freshly baked bread and complimentary wine. A stunning view of the waves breaking on the rocks to the front and magestic mountains to the back, a beautiful garden with meandering pathways leading to viewpoints on the shoreline. The finest of bedding and furnishings! Solar power and extremely friendly hosts, who gave lots of advice on local places to visit. This stay was a treat, and we will definitely be back!

What a beautiful place Kalliste is. The location and views right on the beach are stunning and the accommodation is exquisite, all finishings are beautiful and the small touches such as a welcome note, coffee pods, wine and milk in the fridge were very appreciated. The whole experience was made by the hosts Therese and Garth (and the doggies) who were excellent at communicating prior to arrival, welcomed us warmly and kept us informed of what to do and where to eat throughout our stay. This is ideal if you are looking to relax after a few days on the road or a busy time in the city. I hope to visit again in the future!
