There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Great location In a private nature reserve so we saw lots of animals just driving to the lodge! Such as buffalo, wild pigs etc Fantastic host and staff- thanks Annie! The lodge itself is fantastic, lots of amenities, a nice bar, common area Amazing pool with a umbrella and comfortable loungers. The room itself was modern, had AC (very important in this hear!) The outdoor shower is truly magical. And of course the food was really delicious You cannot go wrong picking this place for a luxurious bush safari experience.

We stayed at this lodge for 5 days in October and it was truly the best experience. The lodge itself is very modern, beautifully decorated and the outdoor shower is such a welcome addition. Annie was amazing - she helped co-ordinate and book all of the activities we did and helped us navigate and change/update our plans as a result of weather. Annie gave us great recommendations and answered all of our questions. The food was a real highlight of the trip - from the fresh fruit starter at breakfast to the three course meal in the evening. We cannot recommend this place enough - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay in South Africa amazing and we really appreciated it.

Nothing much, would have liked to have a few things in the room though like a dustbin in the room so we don’t have to walk to the bathroom, towel rails next to the bathtub and a mirror in the room next to power point when doing your hair and makeup.

the hygiene wasn’t good. the bed looked like there was sleeping Someone before inside and the house wasn’t that clean.

the stuff was friendly and so nice. the place in the middle of the animals was great. the owner were so friendly and made our stay amazing. the food was one of the best I ever ate, in a beautiful restaurant I never will forget.

A family friendly spot, with a very welcoming and caring host! Annie is just the best! The unit we were in was perfect for a family of four - beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, crisp sheets. we loved the outdoor shower and the bath for the kids. We had amazing meals and service - Walter & Phindi thank you! A close-ish drive to Orpen gate, Kruger park. Best part was lounging around the pool.

We slept 4 nights in the (self catering) cottage with good beds en and fine shower but had diner en breakfast at lodge every day. It was delicious. Annie is a very kind and helpfull host!

We had a lovely stay with our familiy in the cottage. The cottage is very spacious and has a huge terrace with a magnificient fireplace/braai. Annie is a wonderful host who gave us not only a very warm welcome but also many useful tips for our daily journeys into the Kruger Park and to the Blyde River Canyon. Our kids particularly loved Annie's three dogs and the sweet Bushbabies which could be observed at nightfall.

I didn't realise the location is inside a reserve and it is a bit of a drive to get in there and the gate closes at night, which wasn't ideal for us as we were visiting family in Hoedspruit. However, this wouldn't stop me from booking here again.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location. Very friendly owners. The self-catering cottage is fully equipped with everything you need and the rooms are comfortable.

We had a wonderful family getaway in the cottage at Kingfisher Creek Lodge. We had all the amenities to make our family of 4 comfortable. The hosts were very warm and hospitable. We enjoyed driving to the various sites in the area and spotted numerous aminals on our drives. The cottage was spotless and we had the best nights' sleep!

The road to the place ia a bit of a challenge but it is worth it.

The house is beautiful, also the reception and the swimming pool. It is so nicely done. We enjoyed the fireplace in front of our house and the giraffes who walked close by. The hosts were amazing.
