The whole property is magnificent!!! From the layout of the cottage, to the dams and walking trails - wished we could have stayed longer to explore more! And not to mention the Management and staff, they are gems!!!

We loved the fireplace that was in the room. When we dropped of our bags - long before the scheduled check-in time, we intended to arrive early evening. On arrival the fire was burning - awesome as it was cold and wet.

We weren't there long enough to explore the property and enjoy some fishing - our problem, not theirs.

The unit was clean with very interesting decor choices. It was also a nice size and they provided delicious rusks with the tea/coffee station as well as fresh milk, which is always a bonus.

The whole experience was amazing we went down as a family for a wedding regrettably we didnt manage to stay in the property as much as we wanted to, it was peaceful, comfortable and just all round sensational, We will definitely be back for another weekend and most definitely not leave the property for the whole weekend! sensational!

My only gripe was that the towels hanging in the lovely big bathroom smelled rather musty, not fresh and clean. I didn't see any other towels left out so wasn't sure if I mistook those for others I should have used.

Loved the room, decor, location. Everything needed for self-catering was thought of. Altogether, lovely. I had a small bat fly into my room at dusk, and it was quickly dealt with by the helpful staff. The owner was also on hand and very helpful.

Armstrong Cottage has a lovely old farmhouse feel. Very comfortable beds, a stunning covered verandah and overall, very well equipped. A lovely gem in the midlands.

There are heavy rains in the midlands so parking was muddy as its on grass. Visitors to midlands are here for events so our shoes were always caught in the mud, i would suggest adding stones/pebbles. Otherwise everything was amazing.

The room is quaint, quiet and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is large, big shower and bath. Fan for cooling and lots of windows.

The location is perfect. We stayed in the Armstrong cottage which was clean, spacious and had everything we could possibly need. The daily cleaning service was incredible and all the staff were warm and welcoming. We had a lovely stay and we love to return.

The miffy smell in the rooms due to old antique furniture, would also be nice if there was a central lounge area for guests to chill and perhaps order some drinks like coffees, milkshakes etc.

I liked the pool and scenery and fresh rusks in the room. Shower was amazing.

Beautiful farm, gorgeous views, Stone Cottage was perfect for family of 4. Very homely, luxurious and comfortable. We had absolutely everything we needed. Fishing was a bonus - jumping trout teased and eluded me, but another fisherman caught quite a few. It rained while we were there and there was heavy mist, but it only added to the charm and cosyness we felt. We'll definitely be back.

The rooms are very well equipped (also for load-shedding cases) and very comfortable. The premises have a pool, animals, and many paths to walk on and explore.
