Very friendly staff, good food, good wifi for work purposes and loved the walks (especially the forest up the mountain). Peaceful and calm environment. I parked my car for the week as there was no need to touch it again - everything is available on site.

The road leading to the establishment has potholes, so don’t drive a small car.

Property is clean, we were returning for the second time. Food was great. Scenic and beautiful views once you get inside the premises.

We made a last minute booking, and were greeted by friendly faces and fantastic service. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was neat and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. Thank you for an excellent stay.

The road to get there is challenging, especially when it us raining.

The staff are amazing: nothing is too much trouble. The cottage was so well equipped and just beautiful. The views are spectacular.

We had loadshedding most of the weekend, only the lights and TV in the room was on solar.

Very nice venue in the middle of nowhere. Come here for rest and tranquility. Nice and friendly staff. We could chose our room out of three. Diner was surprisingly good with high standards. We recommend this hotel for sure and hope to come back some day.

The intial drive/first impression off the R103 , is not pleasant - full of pot holes . Would suggest in time to consider another route all together also not directly via lidgetton village

The dinner menu could maybe have 1 or 2 more options but the food on offer was very tasty & good quality. The pressure of the water in the bath & shower was a bit weak.

It was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen had enough cutlery & the rooms were very comfortable. The baths & showers were very nicely decorated.

The bedroom and bathroom door handles were very squeaky which made quite a bit of noise when using in the middle of the night. Just needs a bit of oil. The hot/cold water supply in the shower main bedroom was a bit erratic.

The cottages were large, well equipped and very comfortable. The outside area was lovely, such wonderful views. We ate at the lodge instead of self catering and the food was very good - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The surroundings and the lodge are lovely, a perfect place to relax for a few days.

Breakfast was nice and dinner was good too. This place exceeded my expectations, Thabisile was very helpful and friendly at the reception. She's the best 👌
