In the booking.com information it mentioned a drying rack and oven. None of this was available. The front door was locked and although it indicated that it will be unlocked at 5 am. This was not the case. No key was given to open the front door and you had to walk around the building to exit. One of the guests had a disability and hence this was difficult as it was also raining. The info in the room states breakfast is from 7am, but this was not the case. Breakfast over weekends are later. This was not explained. I was also charged substantially more when booking out than what I was quoted. Sadly I will not be staying here again.

At check-in we were told that breakfast was around 07:00, which was great as we needed to move early. I paid for the two day's, on Saturday we arrived at around 07:30 and all was good, but on Sunday when we left at 07:30, the breakfast room was still closed and we were told by a waiter that they only open at 08:00 on Sundays. The shower in our room was also very mouldy.

For a 4-star accommodation, too many things need attention. Leaking tap in the bathroom, cracked glass on photo in room. Toilet seat stained badly, toilet seat totally loose.

For us, this place was perfect. If I am being honest, it was that I wasn't able to order out for wine from Uber Eats so I had to run down the street. #firstworldproblems.

What a lovely property! I could see how it would be wonderful for an event such as a wedding. For us the location was perfect because it's so close to Onderdespoort Veterinary Hospital where we needed to bring our dog. Nice breakfast service.

Our bathroom wasn't great. The ceiling paint was peeling off. The basin drained extremely slowly, and the shower leaked. There was always a huge puddle in the bathroom whenever someone took a shower. The room layout could be better. The fridge and coffee area is in one corner of the room, and then the microwave, plates , etc are on the opposite side of the room.

The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We loved that the accommodation is pet-friendly, and close to the Onderstepoort Vet Hospital.

Rooms are not sound proof, so it is not so nice to wake up early and listen to every word of the conversations of the people in the rooms next to you.

Easy to find. Good parking. Rooms are nice and spacious and clean. Very good value for money. Owner is very friendly and fantastic service.

Lighting in my room, as I needed to do some work at night, however the room is provided with a desk lamp, that helped a lot.

The breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit salad would be a bonus. The chef gave me some options for a change and made me an omelet one day, which I enjoyed very much. Pancakes would be a delightful add to the menu with other pastries for a variety. I love the lovely clean and white towels that smelt super fresh and of a superb quality (Glodina). Very relaxing atmosphere.

Felt like we a bit less orthodox guests being from a different heritage. Nothing big but could be an issue for other in the future. However, the hosts adapted quickly .
