They are allowed to drive only with one car at a time. When the lodge is fully booked, 10 people plus ranger in one vehicle. OK, but not super for those, that sit in the middle They are not allowed to go offroad....ok in many places, where it´s simply impossible. But in other places it is possible, so you could approach game closer, but you are not allowed to

The lodge, the whole reserve, the staff, the ranger, all was as good as possible. The waterhole at the lodge gives additional sightings, the ranger (Winand) is an expert by all means

The main road into the lodge is in terrible condition. Everyone was complaining no matter what type of vehicle they have. To be fair, I think they can work on the food. Some meals are very very basic and not what I expected from a 5 star lodge.

I, along with a couple that just flew in from the UK, had over an hour's wait at the main gate after arrival before we were taken to the lodge. After traveling for a long period of time and being asked to arrive at a certain time, I didn't find this a great start to my holiday. Another vehicle really could've come to collect the guest who was an hour and a half later than us.

The intimacy of the lodge is fantastic with only 5 suites on the property. The views, meals, and rooms were phenomenal!

Booking process very formulaic rather than personalised

Unpretentious bush lodge with great food and very good rangers. They can cater Halaal friendly and their prices are excellent for what you get.

Beautiful location. The lodge is located at the top of a ridge with an amazing view over the reserve. The chalets are comfortable and have their own private balconies. The meals were delicious and filling (dessert with lunch and dinner!), the staff attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We saw and learned so much on our game drives, and had a wonderful and relaxing time. I would highly recommend Nedile Lodge.

the road to the lodge must be driven is a high clearance vehicle, we went is my audi s3 which got damaged on the drive in. it would be nice to be told in advance that the road is not great.

We had a wonderful experience at the Nedile Lodges. The safari drives were incredible; we saw three big five within touching distance! The room was luxuriously spacious, with the most breathtaking view. The food was scrumptious. The service was unbelievable; every staff member we encountered, from the rangers to the cleaning staff, was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help! They all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

Nedlile has exceeded our expectations. Located in the heart of Welgevonden Game Reserve, this is a stunning place with a familiar touch. The staff had all kinds of details with us. They really care about their guests. The cherry on the cake was John, the game ranger, an outstanding guide, animal lover, and someone who understands wildlife in nature. We will be back :).
