Everything!! Beautiful decor, comfy beds and spotlessly clean! Lovely location. Nguni cows at the back and a lovely pond in the front.

Wat a awesome cottage in the montain close to a lake, view is awsome and the farm feeling. The locasion was awesome espcialy close to golf course. This is a must was our first time in Midlands and will go back espesialy to this farm. It is a must visit.

We were too relaxed and loving the place to complain. The only issue was regulating the shower temperature as it's on solar and very sensitive. The shower needs a regulator to avoid it getting too cold too quickly.

Loved the place and the service. Tracy has thought of everything to make one's stay comfortable, safe and welcoming. The property is surrounded by beautiful horses, cows, lush green landscapes. Tracy was accessible on Whatsapp and considerate enough to let us know about a crash on the N3 which would have impacted our day trip to Nottingham Rd. Newstead farm is highly recommended for a secluded and relaxing getaway.

Nothing much. There's no TV, but one can use the wifi and personal laptops to access the same material online.

A truly beautiful setting. Nice homely feel. Lovely decor. Extremely efficient modern fireplace, augmented if necessary by a warm gas heater, blankets (and heaters in the bedrooms too). Since we arrived on a cold and wet evening we were as warm as toast very soon after getting settled in. I believe the pillows are the most comfortable we have ever had in decades of self catered sleeping away from home. Fully equipped kitchen with quality crockery. Enjoyable small touches throughout, like a large selection if teas. Lovely showers and even a bath...and I still have said anything about the glorious view of the lake, the valley below and the horizons beyond. Being in a farm setting, horses and all, that is so close to the motorway was just the cherry on top. Finally, our hosts were very friendly, engaging and responsive.

Tracy and Winnie are fantastic hosts. Our stay was absolute perfection! We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all that the farm and the area has to offer. There is so much thought put into each unit, from the information booklet, to the fresh milk and lemons delivered to your door, to the board games and the beautiful veranda looking out on the picturesque landscape. Thank you so very much. We can't wait for our next stay.

Water Problem, but was sorted very quickly

When we arrived they accommodated us with early check in , when we arrived our room had a water problem, so they moved us, i was not happy as we booked for lakeview, and fire place, Tracy the owner met with us, and moved us, we were very happy
