The room needs some tlc, as does part of the property that was clearly affected by floods a few years ago. We had a serious leak though the roof on our last night when it rained.

Areas in need of maintenance and repairs. Litter - the scourge of the world - is sadly present across the property along with invasive plant species.

Need additional room keys. Carried luggage to reception and then had to carry it back to the car to drive to the rooms. A warning would have been nice. Bottled water should be available in the rooms. Safe locked in the open position and thus unusable.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Airconditioned. Pool with an excellent view. Friendly staff. Delicious food at the restaurant.

We went with cars and bakkies and some of our cars couldn't make it to the place...it was a distance to reach our destination from the main road and the roads were bad. And from the reception to our place we had to drive further in on bad roads we kept getting stuck. We also found a scorpion and rat in our rooms. But overall we loved the place its very nice,neat and the atmosphere is amazing.

Our Chalet (202) was rather dark and outdated.

A nice place, nice restaurant and bar, nice pool area, great views. Meals are good, with a variety of mains to choose from. Nice breakfast, friendly service.

Not a variety in food options and every second day the same choices. Definitely up for improvement. The personnel do not put in a lot of effort.

Activities were expensive. Restaurant served a set menu which was only made available on the day. Menu items were not available. Airconditioned unit. This implies aircon in bedrooms as well. Loft room was too humid and hot and the ceiling fan was not effective and was too low. Danger of injury if one accidentally raised an arm.

The location. However, more information about how to get there should be provided, eg ferry crossing or self drive. Also describe route. Option of self catering and half board. Friendly and accommodating staff.

We had a 3 night stay without internet at all we asked reception they were working on it ,but at the end of our stay we still had no internet and there is no signal for phones. The bathroom towels even after washed smelled really bad like a fishy smell. The food was okay not the best wish there was more variety on the set menu.

The location is very nice with beautiful views the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are lots of things the lodge offers plenty of activities.

The only downside is that the food is not always super tasty.. and it takes a very long time to come out. Also, I would recommend buffet breakfast so one doesn’t have to wait a long time for food to come through and can choose between a larger variety. If the quality of the dishes was improved as well as making the dishes come out quicker, it would be a truly excellent place to go to without any doubt! Finally, just a small not that there were many children on Saturday at the pool making it very difficult to relax.

The location is absolutely stunning, the rooms are really beautiful immersed in the forest, and there is a lovely swimming pool overlooking the lake. Staff is also very kind!

The fact that there's no loadshedding 👌👌, I also adopted a cat there 🤣🤣🤣 she followed me everywhere I go around the bushes.

The cocktails were very good ,oh and the beer 🍺 the beer there comes with a nice big jar . Also loved the 4 wheel excursion

Lack of mosquito repellent, they had one that does not work well. And the place has lots of mosquito. The bunker bedroom should have atleast a fan as it is very hot.
