Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaThe breakfast was not enjoyable, could not eat it as it was like they used old oil and fish fingers for breakfast. Not what you would expect for a breakfast at all. My staff said they could not eat the meal and left it aside and ate cereal.
The facilities were good and clean and the bed was comfortable, the place was in a good location in town.

South AfricaI think I got the room for "little" people. Single electric blanket on a double bed, hit my head on the shower outlet, tried to look in the mirror and saw my neck and the coffee cups were so small I think may have come from a children's tea set. Weird.

CanadaBathroom is too small and you are forced to use a shower only. TV channels is the most frustrating thing. You watch channels you do not even watch at home. There is no news channels and soccer channels like SS2. Only an English channel SS3. I asked soccer channel, I was not helped. If you can look at these small things, I will be happy

South AfricaThe carpets give off a terrible smell and wooden floor sections are loose. The television was not working, they did try and rectify the problem. Will not recommend this resort to anyone. Secure parking was confirmed however the gates stayed open and did not sleep well worrying that the company vehicle would be stollen.
