I'd like to express a huge appreciation to the hosts who helped us a lot when it happened that our car broke down. There are many hosts who can handle positive travel scenarios and just a few who can handle negative scenarios. Those hosts are the latter which is great. And for the rest it was a normal accommodation on the farm — good room and breakfast.

The road getting in is a little worse than expected, despite being warned. However, we did arrive while it was raining which didn't help.

Magnificent view of the farm through the window, a very lovely couple who takes good care of you, lots of playful dogs, very interesting recommendations received of different places in South Africa, possibility to witness a polo training, etc.

We were not aware that the road of 1,7km on the farm itself was so bad, especially if you don't have a 4x4. Apparently it is in the announcement but we didn't see it. But our host helped us out with food, so we didn't had to drive up and down.

The view from our own porch is fantastic. You could sit here the whole day to watch the colours changing. Big clean room on a working farm. Friendly host.

Maybe a little mat next to the bed for when you get up during the night and you are barefoot and its a bit cold, but it wasn't bad.

1.7 k drive best done with increased ground clearance. our Opal corsa struck bottom a few times. The host actually drove us out to get dinner due to our low car issue.

The road to the chalet is not to be attempted by a sedan vehicle. Our host was very concerned as they had major flooding the night before we arrived. Luckily we had 4x4 vehicle.

What a beautiful setting overlooking fields and mountains from the front porch. Big room with comfortable bed. Our host was super friendly and the light breakfast delicious. We really loved our 1 night stay.

Despite being challenged with load-shedding for the majority of our stay, we were made as comfortable as possible. My mother and I had the most wonderful and beautiful mornings and afternoons and found ourselves very grateful for the lack of electricity as it made our stay more wholesome and we could enjoy the surroundings of our stay. PS; BEST BREAKFAST AND COFFEE EVER!!!

Very peaceful, with doggies running around and horses n ponies. the view from our cottages was breathtaking. The rooms were clean and warm. We received such a warm welcome upon arriving. Everything that we asked for was there for us.

Nita was a fantastic host and so friendly. Absolutely STUNNING location. Horses everywhere and mountain views. Breakfast was delicious! You can see the love put into their little bnb. We booked both rooms as we have 4 kids and it was the most peaceful stay ever. Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately the two guest rooms are very close to each other and you can hear everything that happens in your neighbor’s room. One night we were kept up because of a crying baby from our neighbor’s next door. So your stay depends on how quiet your neighbors are. If you are a pair of single travelers who want a good nights sleep then this is probably not for you.
