We had booked the smallest room which was small particularly the bed but luckily it opened up onto the pool deck so we didn’t feel too cramped.

Great location within walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee shops and the promenade. Decor is gorgeous- stylish and homely with fantastic attention to detail. Staff were friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast.

Very stylishly decorated. The staff were incredible, very friendly, and bent over backward to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was downstairs with no view and we felt a little closed in but that did not ruin our stay! Amazing breakfast menu, the bar was open all hours and we felt very safe walking the neighborhood. It was about 1km up from the main Sea Point promenade.

Lovely little hotel with an awesome breakfast (fresh fruits and egg meals to order), great location in sea point in walking distance to the sea and nice restaurants, safe neighborhood to walk around, super stylish and cosy interior, very attentive and friendly staff, free parking, very clean, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Perfect location for a city stay, as long as you don’t expect a beach holiday. Would definitely go there again!

The only thing that could be improved on is the bedding: bigger pillows (king size or fluffier pillows) as the ones that we used were thin and did not give enough support, as well as an extra blanket or duvet in addition to the one on the bed. Other than that all was perfect.

Sitauted within walking distance from local restaurants and the beachfront. Beautiful decor and a stylish venue. Great staff who were multi-tasking away from cooking breakfast to being front of house. A lovely room with an amazing view of Lion's Head. It was perfect for our needs.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel set so conveniently in Sea Point. The decor, look and feel of Pineapple House is so thoughtfully put together and gently luxurious. We loved the attention to detail and the spaciousness of our room. Wonderful fragrance of their bespoke amenities with their quirkily labelled generous bottles were just one of the lovely surprises we kept discovering throughout our stay. Most comfortable bed so beautifully styled, so much cupboard space and a wonderfully spacious bathroom with a bath and double shower. We loved the thought provoking art and obje displayed all around the hotel and the clever and super comfortable layering of the interiors. Team of staff were absolutely wonderful and ensured that everything was perfect and peaceful for our stay. Easy check in, delicious breakfast displayed every morning in the pretty dining area with a huge choice of both what we wanted to choose and have cooked for us. We had secured parking at the hotel. Highly recommend this little gem and will be sure to be back.

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Pineapple House. We stayed here for 5 nights and would have stayed even longer. The hotel itself is just beautiful. We were lucky to be upgraded to a spacious room with a private terrace with views of Lions Head and Table Mountain. The service was outstanding. Everyone was so lovely and we enjoyed chatting with the staff. Breakfast was great as well with a mix of cold and hot dishes. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The room I stayed in needs block out curtains- no privacy, as it overlooks a patio that’s open for use by all guests. The sliding door/ blinds still has gaps so one can see into the room - as I could see the people outside when closed. There were only sheer curtains for “privacy” - I found this super uncomfortable. Block outs would solve the issue.

The staff are fantastic. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, like a home away from home but still not too much. The rooms and lounges are so beautiful with an incredible sense of colours and feeling for design but not impersonal, very warm. The breakfast is something outstanding as well!
