Only negative thing is that the walls are a bit thin, but it was fine as our neighbours were very respectful.

The stay was absolutely fabulous. First of all, Michelle was very helpful as she texted us best options to travel to Coffee Bay, and offered a dinner option. Dinner was delicious. The view is incredibly beautiful and it is definitely worth waking up early and seeing the sunrise, then having an early walk. The room is clean and comfortable, with warm blankets for chilly nights. It is a nice place to relax, have a cup of coffee in the common area and enjoy the view.

They do what they can to make the room comfortable, but it does have an older feel with the linoleum, especially in the bathroom. However, it was very clean, and the value was excellent.

The view is incredible! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it was easy to check in and out. The place has an older feel with unique antique furniture. The common room has board games for anyone to use. We spent the evening with a bottle of wine and Trivial Pursuit on the comfortable deck.

Unfortunately due to the bad weather there was no electricity and the next day no water. But the guesthouse has generators that they use at specific times. This obviously was just bad timing but all in all we really like Coram Deo.

We enjoyed the unspoiled sea view, as well as the Coffee Bay Drum band which came to the Guesthouse after dinner. It was a nice experience and just to be part of the cultural music. I also tried Crayfish for the first time which was very nice.

The hostesses is an excellent cook. All the meals were beautifully prepared The patio/stoep area is so tranquil. The views from there is a great selling point.

The owners were really welcoming and so friendly. They were happy to chat to us about our travel plans and gave us some really good recommendations. The dinner there was really delicious, as was the breakfast. Room was very cute and comfy, really close to the beach too!

The rooms are not equipped with a fridge and microwave. However, there is a communal fridge, and you can ask the kitchen to heat your food in their microwave. Would be great if each room had these facilities, though. The walls are paper-thin. I could hear the sound of the fan in the next room, as well as our snoring neighbour.

Loved the view from our room. Cutest Jack russell that reminded my husband and I of our own. Neil and Michelle were very helpful and accommodating of us throughout our stay - kept us up-to-date with the loadshedding schedules as well as any activities they had planned.

We spent two nights at Coffee bay and this is such a beautiful place you should not miss. The lodge has awesome view over the Coffee Bay. Friendly and helpful staff and amazing food prepared by Michelle! Road to the lodge isn’t as bad as we thought! Thank you so much for everything!

We had a lovely stay. Our host Michele was great and served the most amazing supper - Fillet steak and prawns with chips and veggies - ABSOLUTELY divine! She kept us in the loop with regards to load-shedding and was always helpful.

Everything was looked after, communal areas were pristine when we went to sit in them (that balcony/terrace was the most peaceful place to just chill on and look out at the ocean) Michelle was very helpful with regards to our journey up, showed us the best way to go etc. The dinner we had was amazing as well. Long road down to Coffee Bay, with many pot holes and livestock to dodge- but so worth it for the fabulous views. Beautiful Bay and Coram Deo is well positioned to enjoy the views from your balcony. Lovely room and lots of useful information from the host... enjoyed our stay
