Shaun has sent us the code for the lock box prior to us arriving at the location. It was easy to access and we used this box throughout our stay so that we don't have to travel with the keys to the beach.

Nothing that I can think of except making sure the fire lighter was working as we needed this to light the candles during load shedding.

The flat was stunning. Great decor. Very welcoming flat. Host was amazing. Sent us a bottle of wine and chocolates for a mix up in sending code over. The outside area is very unique. Only one in the resort which had a dining area, bar and lounging area looking out at the sea.

The parking spot can be a bit tricky and the incline of the driveway. Could not use the pool as it was a bit dirty. I could not connect to my laptop via the wifi on the 2nd day but our phones and smart tv seemed fine.

Beautiful spacious unit on the ground level. What you see in the pics is what you get. There is everything you need for a beach holiday. Well appointed kitchen and beautiful decor. The unit was found in a clean condition. Comfortable enclosed patio. Very well situated close to beach and restaurants all walking distance. The early morning views of ships and whales playing on the beach was breathtaking. The hosts Shaun and his mum was amazing. Such a little gesture by Marie leaving a slab of chocolate in the kitchen drawer which my little girl enjoyed. I needed a washing rack and Shaun reached out to Marie who was ever so keen to assist in purchasing me 1 for use :) Shaun was abroad but always attended to my whatsapp messages. Security guards were friendly.

No major issues. Just the kettle was leaky so every time you make boiling water there's a small puddle of water. Scissor was broken as well, which is an essential utensil, opening cable ties on your bags and opening food items neatly etc. Had to clean inside of the microwave myself on the day of arrival, which was a little dirty. Parking was also a bit of an issue, the parking bay listed as our parking we were told by security is not for us to use. Also the bay we were moved to someone parked us in, assuming they were trying to show us it's not for us to use either. Essentially being kicked out of bays twice.

Location is great. Place looks exactly as in the pics. Convenient, walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Was specifically looking for homely accommodation and this one did not disappoint. Had the creature comforts we were looking for. Aircon, WiFi, comfy couches etc. Really great value for money when you compare to other accommodation in the area. Definitely a winner.

Cleaning stuff needs to do more cleaning hit the hidden places like underneath the sofas cause that's were I picked up broken glasses

There are a lot of monkeys about at certain times early morn and eve, a water spray bottle at the handy is a good deterrent and ‘don’t feed them.’

Location, location everything for us was in walking distance. 40 steps to a quaint shop ‘Farm to Fork’ stocking lovely organic fruit and veg., fish and meat. Spar supermkt. Just up the road offering delivery service. Lovely apt. serviced by Joyce wonderful, friendly lady even makes time for a chat. ☺️ Host Shaun kept in touch and his Dad, Peter popped down to change the wheels on the sliding door, weather worn. WiFi, Netflix, YouTube all you need. 👍 Kite surfing, kayaking, fishing it’s all happening here. Seven restaurants within walking distance, weekends need to make a booking. Tried them all nice friendly service and and some good tasty options. Will definitely be back. Thank you Shaun.

We loved our stay! The apartment is so close to the beach and the restaurants. The unit is in pristine condition and so well looked after. We loved the attention to detail. Couldn’t ask for a better self-catering home stay.

The only issues I had was parking, seems there's no dedicated parking spot. I was asked to move about 4 times. There's no generator so we had no power for an entire day. We stayed for 3 weeks and there's no washing machine but a laundromat a few meters away.

The dishwasher was leaking when we arrived. The handyman was only able to assist the next day. The sliding door also jammed one night. Luckily we had the contact details of the handyman who came out and helped us get out and showed us how to open and close the door. The owners did not respond to us until the next day.
