The place was good, it was our second visit but it wasn't good as the first visit. We saw one cockroach in the room. Please get netflix and update TV system

The area around the hotel apart from the short distance to the Union Buildings and its park felt extremely unsafe.

Here you stop for the view that changes wonderfully depending on the weather and time with a view over the Union Buildings, from and to the hotel taxis are preferably Uber which cost significantly less than traditional taxis .

Water in dripping from pipes in the basement parking. The property has become old and needs maintenance.

The Hotel was somewhat rundown. The pool furniture was broken and the pool towels had holes in them. Its not what you would expect at the price you pay.

The room was well-appointed and comfortable. The Breakfast had a wide selection. The dinner was good but very limited offering.

Unfortunately the buildings power was off duing our stay and although they had a generator it was not running the geysers or bathroom light so we had to have cold showers in a very dark bathroom. Decor is a little outdated We never received a wifi password?

The pool was run down and wouldn’t advise using it. Also the bar by the pool is no longer operating. This didn’t impact our stay but worth noting for those who would have expected it to be.

Great Breakfast! Large variety and really great friendly service. The bedroom was extensively large in our room on level 6.

There were some slight service issues and lack of attention to detail. Ther could be more training around developing more awareness of the customer needs. This is a posh hotel and the restaurant staff should be better trained at developing the nuances required at this level.

Such good value for money, just a wonderful experience. Its slightly outdated but still has that air of sophistication and opulence. Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back

The breakfast and dinner menu were great. The chef was willing to offer something different from the buffet overall staff including the trainees were amazing.

One downside though was that the coffee machine was not fully functional and as a result, the cappuccino tasted like strong. A coffee station on the 6 and 7th floor would be much appreciated, instead of having to go to the bar to order coffer. I had to go down because the telephones were not working.

I specifically appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was quite nice, with a variety of food that was served.

The swimming pool should be more often serviced. I had to clean it myself for 15 minutes (fishing the leaves) before I could swim.

Very friendly staff, always ready to help. Overall a very clean hotel, the bathroom is spotless, the shower is fantastic and the beds are comfortable. Free computer terminals in the hotel lobby and free printing at the reception.The executive rooms on the 6th and 7th floor have access to a printer in the shared lounge. In that shared executive lounge is a happy hour from 5 to 7 pm with free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.

We asked for a shower cap ( Which was listed on the amenities that can be provided) and had to call in 3 times to check why it had not arrived. We ordered Uber Eats and they were even faster in delivering the food.

I liked how spacious the rooms are and the overall hotel aesthetic and view. The hotel is charming.
